Ok I try to start a new game but the game quits and I keep getting this message in the console:

bad parameter in external weapon data 'firingforce'

    Any help?

Is there a way to bind a key to swift kick? It's normally hittling the space bar twice, but people seem to be able to kick with very little effort and can do it really fast. I don't see how they do this, unless there is another way to kick.

With a little practice it is very easy to do the double tap for kicking. After a while it becomes second nature. I think there is a way to script it though...

If there is let me know. I suck at the finer points of that game because those key combos are so friggen hard. At least it's not as bad as Mortal Kombat.

You need to master the finer points of button-mashing / random key pounding technique.

You need to be more specific with what happens. Do you get an error message?

If it's on about the open GL subsystem, make sure you have downloaded your card's latest drivers.

It is about the Open GL subsystem...I tried downloading the latest friver from ATI (I have a rage 128 pro) but when i tr yto install it it says "these drivers are not compatible with your display adapters" Where can i find updated display adapters?

Here is the XP Rage 128 Pro Driver.

If a message pops-up during install, click "Install Anyways"

EDIT: To be clear -- only click on "Install Anyways" if you're SURE that you have a Rage 128 Pro...

the message i get when i try to install it is:

"The Display Driver is not compatable with the display adapter(s) installed on this system"

the only thing i can click is ok then i quits out

Then the answer is -- you likely don't have an ATI Rage 128 Pro installed.

    Way to check:

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters

    What's listed?

Do you have a Dell (only mention I can find of a "Rage 128 Pro Ultra GL AGP" card) -- if so, which model?

    Best I can do is:

    http://support.dell.com/FileLib/Format.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&Category=6& OS=WW1&OSL=EN&SvcTag=&SysID=DIM_PNT_P4_4300&DeviceID=1348&Type=&ReleaseID=R36936

(edit: added space to non-break the page; remove it to make link work)

Since it's a Dell-specific card, you may be out of luck... :(

can someone help me. By some miracle i managed to download a yoda skin and get it to work. I downloaded others and they don't work. In addition to that i downloaded jedimod 2.0 so yoda would be normal sized but it didn't work. When i went to unzip it its says it needs to know what to run the skin or mod with. I followed all those readmes and i supplied jeid outcast for it to run and it didn't im stumped. Should i have used another program to run it with?

Right, here's a newbie type question for ya. Please don't shout too loudly at me :p

I've just had Broadband/ADSL connected, yet my Outcast MP still lags, shouldn't it be ultra smooth now? I've got my Data Rate set now to LAN/Cable if that helps.

I've kept it short because there may be some insanely simple answer :p

or it may just be me...
    Cheers in advance...

Depends on what server you're connecting to I guess. Try a local one and see if that helps.

Erm... by Local do you mean a one on a network or just a server closer to my physical location? I'm not on a network and I'm just going off the in-game server list. I can try and track down some UK servers though, cheers.

I juist installed the game into my computer. When I push single player it says we need more physcal memory to run proberly. Then I push yes to just start the game and it says cannot load game. So then I checked my memory and it had lots of it.

How much exactly, and what are your PC's specs?
