SWRPF Archive Jedi Purge:The Last of the Jedi

OOC: Ooops, sorry JK. My head is not skrewed on right this week. I have exam block at school and I'm preparing to go to germany for 5 weeks as an exchange student. Very busy I am. I'll just redo my last post.

IC: Aura

The Jedi's next comment shocked Aura to the bone. "We have a problem." He said, skidding to a halt and holding up the homing beacon for everyone to see. "We need to get everyone out of here now, before the new Empire shows up." Don't panic came Aura's masters voice from inside her head. "There here, how many ship's are in the hangar and how big is the fleet" Exar asked her as she was sitting next to the sensor station "We cannot win this fight we must run! We have little time." "There's just enough ships on the hanger for everyone. But it will be squshed." Aura anwsered back. She then looked at the sensor station again and drew a deep breath. "We cannot win this fight is right" she said commenting on Exar's last sentence. "The fleet is huge, almost 70 enemy ships are heading our way, and fast. Aura looked over to Abiha and followed her as they ran out of the room after the rest of the Jedi. "Come on Aura!" Abiha said encouragingly. "Do you have a ship? Or maybe is there one here that we could pilot?" she asked calmly as they stopped infront of the hanger bay doors. "I have a ship but it can only hold 3 crew and 1 passanger at the most. Plus I'm not entirelly sure if my hyperspace generator will work, it cuts out alot." Seeing the look on Abiha's face she added. "Oh don't worry, I think its working fine now. Well, it was when I came here from the temple. I can fly anything else if you want me too."

IC: Abiha Vast

"Aura, I'll see what I can do about that hyperdrive. Don't panic. Let's see if anyone else needs a ride. We have room for two more right?" Abiha asked. She pulled her hair back in a small and messy pony tail and rolled up her sleeves, prepairing to work on the hyperdrive if needed. She looked to Aura with her most calm and encouraging smile. "Just stay come." Sincerity filled her voice.

IC: Dernan

"Dernan where should we head?" Exar shouted.
It doesn't matter, he thought. Everywhere we go we will be hunted. Everywhere we go we'll have to run.
But when he opened himself to the Force, Dernan found only peace. And that peace help him focus. We might have to run now, but we'll get a chance to strike back.
"Tatooine," he shouted back to Exar. "It's isolated, remote, not many people to see us. And I know a couple of people there who might be able to help us."
He paused for a moment, checking that everyone was out of the briefing room and moving towards the hanger bay. "Anyone who doesn't have a ship head for the Nebula Storm. We'll all get out of this."

OOC: There's an Imperial Shuttle in the hanger, probably a couple of other transports as well. But the bases staff need to evacuate too. So, ride with Aura, Dernan or, if you're a pilot, you can take the shttle. If you take the shuttle make sure you take some people with you, even if they're just randoms from the base.

 

IC: Grich

"There's plenty room on the X10X flyer," Grich piped up. "I might be able too fit. . . Wait, We're in the middle of an asteroid field. I've got an idea." Grich had recalled hearing about the problems the fighters had dodging large projectile objects. He on the other hand, had gotten used to it after years of experience. "Try to fit as much as possible on the shuttle, disable the homing device and navigate to the far side of the colony. I can take off and occupy the fighters in the field, they have a hard time squeezing through small spaces, and will have to convert more power to their shields than lasers to avoid being destroyed by asteroids, which they most likely will. The capitol ships are too big too follow and will be occupied by the chase going on at the moment. At the correct moment, you'll need to enter hyperspace. I'm guessing you have a rendezvous point in mind?"

IC: Aura

"Yeah I have room for two more." Aura anwered to Abiha. She quickly led the way the 'lightspeed' her small but ,as the name suggests, fast starfighter. "Dernan where should we head?" Exar shouted. "Tatooine," was the answer. 'Oh great' thought Aura, 'as if things aren't heating up already. "It's isolated, remote, not many people to see us. And I know a couple of people there who might be able to help us." Dernan contunued.
"Anyone who doesn't have a ship head for the Nebula Storm. We'll all get out of this." "There's plenty room on the X10X flyer," Grich piped up. "Yeah, and I can fit 2 more" shouted Aura climbing into her cockpit with Abiha getting in next to her. I'm guessing you have a rendezvous point in mind?" Grinch asked.

TAG: Dernan, Exar, Abiha, anyone.

 

IC: Kuvan

"I can possible squeeze two more people in with me." Kuvan looked around at the others. "Tatooine sounds fine. The hutts wont be looking for Jedi so we should be fine there, for now."

IC: Exar


Exar listened to Grich's plan.

"Excellent, everyone get out of here, head for tatooine, it is sparsely populated so we should easily be able to feel each others presence. take as many people as possible with you. Grich, do you need any help in the flyer, I offer you my services" Exar told him.

TAG: Grich

 

IC: Grich

"Grich, do you need any help in the flyer? I offer my services."

Grich replied, "Actually, it'd be nice if I had a couple of other ships flying with me. That may convince the Empire that we're the only ones, plus the fact we can occupy them more easily."

Grich ran out to the hangar where the X10X flyer was located. He called back, "I could use a few good pilots with me."
He climbed into the ship. He felt more at home seeing it again. And took a few seconds to absorb the good memories. He sat down inside the cockpit, and fastened himself in. He checked the systems, everything was fine. He just needed to wait for the others before he could start the diversion.

IC: Aura

"I could use a few good pilots with me." said Grich. "I can do it" Aura told him, "I'm a pretty good pilot. Abiha could you co-pilot with me?" she asked. She then checked if her hyperdrive was working properly and breathed a sigh of relieve when she saw is was. Thank the force she thought to herself. She shut her cockpit just as the outer hanger bay doors suddenly opened, revealing a dark space speckled with growing silver objects that reflected the light of nearby stars. "There getting closer!" shoted Aura over her comlink.

OOC: Is this a AU story! Does Luke, Leia, Obiwan and Darth Vader exist?

 

OOC: Its still a few weeks after Ep III. so luke and leia are babies. Obi-wan is on tatooine, Darth Vader is crying like a baby about Padme.



IC: Exar


Exar sensed a presence behind him, it was the Jedi Master Yoda.

"Master, what will you do?" Exar asked him.

"To Degobah I must go. In that transport there" Yoda pointed to a two man fighter that was sat in the corner of the hangar.


Exar sent a force message to all Jedi in the hangar. "My fellow Jedi, I must leave. I shall take Master Yoda to his place of Exile. I shall meet you on Tatooine. Dernan, look after them. Good Luck and May the Force be with you all"

Exar and Master Yoda stepped up and got into the two man fighter. Igniting its engines the ship flew out of the hangar and revealed a sight that could frighten even the hardest of men.

Star Destroyers surround the exit of the asteroid field.

"Grich i'm gonna need some help" Exar said over the comm link.

OOC: ALRIGHT, who forgot about master yoda,

 

OOC: That little green guy? I didn't forget about him i just decided to...um...not mention him (cough cough.) Ok fine. I forgot about him, but who forgot that Luke and Leia where born on Pollis Massa? Wouldn't someone have seen them before Obi-Wan took them away or wouldn't someone have at least mentioned them?

IC: Aura

"My fellow Jedi, I must leave. I shall take Master Yoda to his place of Exile. I shall meet you on Tatooine. Dernan, look after them. Good Luck and May the Force be with you all" came Exar's voice through the force. "Master Yoda's going into exile? What hope is there for the rest of us?" Aura asked Abiha. None at all it seemed as Aura looked up to the sky and saw Star Destroyers surround the exit of the asteroid field. "Grich i'm gonna need some help" Exar said over the comm link.

TAG: ABIHA, Exar, Grich, all the other people.

 

IC: Dernan
"Actually, it'd be nice if I had a couple of other ships flying with me. That may convince the Empire that we're the only ones, plus the fact we can occupy them more easily."
Dernan nodded as the wisdom in the idea, "me and the Storm will fly beside you."
He quickly made his way to the cockpit and toggled the comm, "don't worry about preflights, start bring systems up and be ready to through hell unless something looks wrong."
By the time the remaining Jedi had strapped themselves in the Storm was ready to go. He'd just barely begun to lift when Exar's voice came over the comm, "Grich, I'm gonna need some help."
"Just run hard Exar. Get as far from the fleet as you can and make your jump, me and Grich will run interference for you." Dernan switched over to the ship's intercomm, would a couple of you people like to jump on the guns? We're about to get swarmed and I'd like to be able to swat back."


OOC/ so, divide yourselves up between the Nebula Storm, X10X flyer and Aura's ship. Aura can take 2 more I believe, Grich or myself can take quite a few.
Whoever gets on the guns - target rich environment, many fighters coming to get us. It won't be easy to line up a shot cause the Ship will be dodging asteroids at high speed, but even a miss could hit another fighter you weren't aiming for.

 

OOC: Dont forget that Obi-wan took luke and bail took organa while yoda stayed on polis massa. We got there after they had already gone.

OOC:I'm Back! ive been asked to do the sith apprentice so here goes... oh and almost forgot COME ON ENGLAND!!!

IC:Sith appretice
"Hunt down every last one of them, and do it quickly, before they get a chance to escape the asteroid feild" Said The Sith Apprentices master
"yes, my lord i shall go and take some stormtroopers to the community and destroy all of them."
The sith apprentice walked off the bridge of the imperial dreadnaught and strode into the hanger bay. He wore a black tunic/ cloke which hid his features fully and wore a mask on his face. once all 4 troop transporters were full, and the pilots in their ships, he lead them into space
"Tie fighters, remain in space just in case any try to escape, All troop transports come with me" He said through the intercom, and with that he flew his ship towards the hanger bay.

The landing had ben a pretty simple one, compaired to what he had delt with before, no troops in the hanger bay at all. He decided to spilt up his troops in case it was a trap
"Alpha squadron, come with me, Bravo leigon, split up and spread out" he said to the soldiers
He then walked off in the general direction of the meeting room...

OOC: Woah hang on, were you asked to do the one off the star destroyer that Exar and dernan came across. Cause if you were then your too late, faith killed him in a rage.

 

IC: Kuvan

Kuvan finished prepping his ship. He knew there wasn't much time before the attack would hit. They had to leave withen the next 10 minutes to get out of there in time. "Where do we want to meet up?"


TAG: Anyone.

 

IC: Grich


The team was ready, and Grich okay'd the others for takeoff. He called over the com link, "Okay, whoever's not flying with me head to the far side of the field. Enter hyperspace once the fleet has taken their attention off the base. I'll meet you guys at the rendezvous point on Tatooine."

Grich started up the flyer, the engines roared to live, and it begin to soar outisde of the hangar. "Here comes the fun part." Grich smirked. The other fighters lifted off. "Okay guys, let's dodge some asteroids."

He accelerated the Flyer to the desirable speed. 3 imperial fighters appeared and began to chase him. He swung the ship left and right, dodging space debris and lasers at the same time. He pulled up and looped around, causing two of the fighters to go carening into an asteroid. He shot down the remaining one, and manuevered his way through a maze of asteroids. The Star Destroyers had moved closer to the position of the group. Sending out more fighters. Grich chose his path wisely and sped through as the Imperial ships behind him were demolished. He checked on his escort fighters, they were doing as well as him. An endless barrage of Imperial ships came out of the Cruisers only to hit or
be hitten by a wandering space rock.

Grich went faster, this time blasting asteroids and dodging them, untill he reached the end of the field. The Star Destroyers
were on the other side the and the fighters were still doing a poor job of manuevering. Grich gave the rest an okay over the comlink, "Exar, go on to Dagobah. Everyone else it's okay to enter hyperspace." The X10X flyer and the escort ships entered hyperspace to Tatooine, leaving the Imperial Fleet behind.

 

IC: Kuvan

Kuvan took off and flew towards the imperials. He would help give the others more time to escape. Kuvan called on the force to guide him through the field. By the looks of things, the imperials were determind not to let anyone escape. He was able to keep up with Grich. Which was not an easy task. Kuvan watched as the imperial fighters crashed into the asteroids. The pilots seemed inexperianced.

OOC: Abiha! Where are you?

"Here comes the fun part." Grich's voice came over the comm link. Aura smiled at this comment and followed Grich and Kuvan towards the Astroid feild and ships. Immediatly, 3 imperial fighters began tailing Grich and even more began following Kuvan. Letting the Force flow through her, Aura shot down two of the fighters tailing Kuvan. Two more ships began following her and she dodged and ducked under their bullets. A huge Asteroid loomed in front of her as she strugled to keep from being fried. I have an Ideashe though, smiling slyly. She began picking up speed, heading straight towards the crater. "What are you doing!?" a voice from the comm link asked her panicking. She looked over to Abiha and saw the same question in her eyes. "Trust me." she told both. She flew straight towards the astroid, checking the Imperial fighters where still behind her. Good, they are she thought. Closer...closer...closer. The head of her ship was only a metre from the astroid when she pulled up, flying virticully up the astroides surface. Boom! The fighter behind her wasn't so fast and crashed into the large rock. The second Imperial fighter suffered the same fate, only with a different astroid. They never learn she thought smirking.

OOC: Hey guys. I'm going to Germany for 5 weeks tomorrow and don't know when I'll have a chance to RP. I've asked Abiha to take over my character while I'm gone but everyone feel free to control her. Be creative and I'll try to come on as much as posible!

Bio: One of few Mon Calamari Jedi, Rimbozendi has always been an excellent saber duelist. He was present at the battle of geonosis, but afterward did not participate much in the clone wars. "Abiha will you co-pilot with me?" Abiha nodded.
"Master Yoda is going into exile? Then what hope is left?" Aura asked her.
"Don't be worried, Aura. There is still hope in the remaining Jedi. In you, and in me; in Master Exar, in Grich, in all who are around us." She smiled to Aura, her new found friend. "For the force flows in everything. Don't allow negative emotions to dominate you." she said firmly. "They willtear you down."
Abiha had now placed all her trust in Aura's abillity to pilot, and Aura's confidence in herself.

IC: Exar


Exar continued through the barrage of laser fire and asteroids towards the edge of the field. Dernan and Grich were doing there job, Exar was so close to the edge when a Star Destroyer exited hyperspace right in front of them.

Exar saw as Dernan sped his ship up towards the bridge of the craft.



"DERNAN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!!" he shouted over the commlink.
