I have scoured my resources (including here) because I know I've seen this info somewhere but I can't find it. I would like a general overview of the common Jedi lightsaber fighting stances. If it's here somewhere, please refer me to the link.

    TIA!!!

Huh, that's so weird. I know I've read it somewhere, too. There's some info about it in I, Jedi, though, I'm pretty sure. Also, in Star By Star they talk about them in narration.

There was something about that in the AOTC Visual Dictionary

This probably doesn't help much, but they have three different types of stances in Jedi Outcast, the new computer game. There isn't names, just color designations:

Blue: Quick, decisive attacks that don't cause a lot of damage.

Yellow: A medium stance, not overly quick or slow. Pretty much average across the board. I noticed a lot of spin attacks associated with this stance.

Red: The slow, powerhitting stance. This one hits slow but will be sure to slice an enemy in half if it connects.

Like I said, it doesn't help too much, as it doesn't include defensive stances or anything.

Yeah, in I, Jedi, Luke teaches one stance, and then Corran also describes one when he dreams he's Nejaa. He also talks about it when he's fighting the guys in Tavira's castle.
