I noticed watching TPM today that the Jedi Council doesn't meet at the top of the tallest, central tower in the Jedi Temple but atop one of the four identical towers surrounding that central spire. What goes on at the top of those other three towers, which appear to have rooms externally similar to the Council chambers atop all of them.

Also, there seems to be a design blooper involving the doorway to the Council chamber. When the camera is inside the chamber and facing the doors when they open, we see a corridor beyond, suggesting there should be a protrusion enclosing that volume on one side of the tower's exterior. Yet the tower appears to have nothing disrupting its symmetrical, cylindrical design. By the outside appearance, there would be no way in or out of the recognizable Council chamber at the top. The full-size set has this attached corridor but the model of the exterior doesn't.

Strilo edit: There is a thread about the Jedi Temple spires already. Please check the first three pages of the forum for your topic before starting a new one.

The second and third tower are where Mace and Yoda have their quarters. Thats right; being the kingpin duo-twosome of the Jedi grants them quite a few amenities.

The fourth and last tower is where Darth Sidious lives. Yep, thats right, not only can sidious fool the jedi when he is right there under their noses and making fun of them, he also managed to get himself a room in the temple.

If you watch the balcony scene in ep 1 with maul and sidious carefully, you will notice in the background Mace giving Yoda a bubble bath in their quarters, after which he tucks the frog in and reads him a bedtime story.
