Jedi Temple fix (RotJ)

You know, if they just rebooted post-RotJ, this wouldn't be a problem anymore.

 

It also wouldn't have been a problem if Lucas had left the movies alone.

 

I could have sworn that Jacen found the temple in Traitor.....

 

I believe that jacen did find it, because verge said it was under some sort of dark enery or something like that.

Rather, he found where it had been, since it was destroyed (by the Vong, if not by Palpatine). Cue speech about "Why build it on a puddle of dark side-ness?"/"There is no dark side, dumbfrell."

And was Mon Cal still the capital by the end of the NJO?

 

Some Core World was made the capital, name escapes me...as for Ossus I think it was one of the earliest training sites for Jedi but Im not sure

 

I believe that Ossus was the "Jedi planet" of old. Basically the Jedi academy was there back in the day.

 

Ossus was a jedi training place back in the day. In the end of NJO it becomes the new home for the Luke's Jedi Academy.

 

Ossus was the seat of the Jedi Order prior to and during the First Sith War (Exar Kun's conflict), which got relocated to Coruscant after the Cron Drift multi-supernova severely damaged the planet.

The Temple itself existed prior to the Ossus evacuation, although not nearly built up to the levels seen in the movies (which occurred after Ruusan). The new High Council chamber seen in KOTOR II was similar to the one in the prequel era, albeit closer to the ground and more windowy -- or else the skyscrapers were taller in those days.

 

So sad to see such a great looking building go into the dust. From what we see in ROTS, the temple was an ancient and magnificient looking structure. Having the thing be destroyed is the dumbest move ever.

The citywide city was devastated in Dark Empire, fully rebuilt by a marvelled Spaar 6yrs later.
