FF:VIC Jedi Training Camp

Just wanted to see what people think of the idea.

I was planning to hold the camp in February/March next year at a place called Brittania Park in Yarra Junction.

It would be over a two day period and would include activities like:

Mud Challenge, fighting over a Mud pit with poles, looser gets knocked into the mud.
Flying Fox (Enough Said)
Rope Challenge, Obsticle course with rope climbs, rope bridges, etc
Classes in Akido (excuse the spelling) swords and swordsmanship
Meditation and Ti Chi (Beginners classes)
as well as some other fun outdoor stuff and perhaps some roleplay stuff at night.

Costs would be under $60 per head for the two days and that include a place to sleep. (not a tent, in a dorm room style cabin)

So, would anyone be interested in going, or does it all sound too "Nerdy" for us?

I tell you what; You convince the chef or the gentleman and scholar to attend, and I'll be there.

Lol, well I'm all up for hitting people with sticks/swords and roling in the mud.

But still its a big desision and i'm not going to do this kinda thing if I'm the only person there I know. Jem?

EDIT: Oh wait I missed that thing about Role Playing at night... YAHOO!

The more I think about what we'll be doing and what its called, the more I want to go!

If Lachie's in, I'll be in. 60 bucks for 2 nights is kinda good value.

Anyone going to Falls Festival?


Anyhoo, Training Camp (despite the name) looks interesting... however my holiday budget has already exceeded any possibly accomplishable amount, ergo little chance of me coming.

 

I'm most assuredly going to Falls. Mr. Franti will be performing live which almost forces me to go.

Should be a great summer of beautiful music.
