Jedi with a gun!

Does anyone else wanna see a Jedi with a blaster in each hand, shootin' down bad guys?

Anyone here ever seen the movie 'Equilibrium'? Imagine a Jedi doing gun kata

Basically what I'm trying to say is, does the lightsaber have to be the only weapon a Jedi uses? It wouldn't hurt to have a Jedi use blasters once in a while too

Well, for the Jedi knights games, I found that using a lightsaber was more effective than using blasters anyways. Is it really so unbelievable that a lightsaber is that much superior to a blaster though. Given the speed that a jedi can move at, I'm sure they can aim and pull the trigger much faster than a blaster could recharge, so a lightsaber is probably just as good a choice...

For a Jedi, a lightsaber is a much better tool to use.

Quilan is the original jedi with a gun. Kyle is the jedi with a complete arsenal on his back.

 

The Jedi Commando team in SbS was packing some serious firepower. Especially that Rodian with the sniper blaster.

As for the gun...I think it would be more interesting to see a Jedi use a blaster and lightsaber at the same time, one for attack, one for defense. That would be awesome in the movies...blaster bolt juggling, you shoot at someone with a lightsabe and you deflect the bolt back and forth till someone misses....but anyways, gun with lightsaber is best, since both weigh relatively little.
