how is jw any stupider than connemara? yeah, it's stupid to take your wife and unborn child to afghanistan. and it's stupid of her to take herself and her unborn child to afghanistan. or was it a case of "i'm da man and i take ma woman wherever i damn well please" and she had no say in it?

They both sound equally naïve for taking the trip to Afghanistan. Then again, I don't know either of those two to really make a judgment call.

JW, based on his background, was positioned to know the risks better than Conne and by all accounts lead the charge which put her at risk. If karma sees fit to punish that idiocy then good. He had a responsibility as a parent to be a shirked it.
