Please try to not be too stupid. Maybe even considerate. I’d hate to have to send anyone to the thinking corner on timeout, and I swear that if this thread has to be locked again it’s taking someone down with it.

 

Poor Conn, I'm sure she's totally overwhelmed. Hopefully she can soon recover enough to get home to the kids.

 

I'm not surprised at this. They all were probably under incredible stress, as well as lacking in sleep, decent food and liquids. Add to that the things that have been reported in relation to her experiences it's possible she's had a breakdown of some kind or is suffering from exhaustion. Best wishes to her..

 

The talk about therapy a few pages ago reminded me of the Fritzl case here in Austria (the guy in ho locked his daughter in a cellar and repeatedly raped her over more than a decade). There, the woman and her children were all taken to the hospital for several weeeks or even months where they received both physical treatment and extensive psychiatric care. Hard to understand why Canada didn’t do something similar here.

In any case, hope she gets the care she needs and can recover.
