From a slightly different perspective, what if Conn or JW's parents knew or discovered in the last 18 months that their kids posted on here. If you were sat in a room with them, would you be proud or embarrassed about what you've posted. And I ask as someone who didn't know JW - as far as I remember -, and who thought Conn was odd. And think they were both ducking stupid for goibg into Afghanistan, particularly as she was pregnant.

 

Connemara's father has repeatedly said in public interviews that he believes his daughter was naive in her behavior. I think, he's expressing the same sentiment about their decision to make the journey as you.

Nobody at this point is questioning how dumb of an idea it was to venture into Afghanistan, especially in Conn's state.

However, I'm not sure skipping a class is quite the same as wandering into one of the most dangerous countries on earth and being held captive. While pregnant.

Basically, I think I'd stand by everything I said -- plus the people I care about are the people I've met (or want to meet) on the forums, so they all know where to find me anyways.

Also, I do not know what Teh Beez looks like.
