This is an actual portion of my textbook from my psychology of conflict class. Thought you guys would like it to show SW is regarded in examples in post-secondary books:

"Another reason to avoid a conflict is when you are dealing with a "wookie." You may remember the classic Star Wars scene where R2D2 a droid is playing a form of chess with Chewbacca the wookie. Han Solo Chewie's best friend warns him it's not wise to upset a wookiee. C3P0 complains that noone worries about upsetting a droid to which Han retorts 'well a droid don't pull people's arms out of their sockets when they lose.' C3P0 sees his point and tells R2 to let the wookie win. It's not bad advise. There are some people who are used to bullying others around. By not confronting them directly you can save your energy and use it in more constructive ways. Wookies are used to having people come at them in combat. They're not really sure what to do with someone when they fight back."
