They're redoing Scooby Doo with all new animation and have a main antagonist whose minions face the gang every episode. [image=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f0/Shaggy-scooby-getaclue-2006.jpg] And here's the whole gang: [image=http://www.newsarama.com/AniShorts/scooby_and_gangat73dpi.jpg] Is it my imagination or does Daphne resemble a BRATZ doll somewhat? Now I've got nothing against updating something, but this is a little ridiculous. "What's New Scooby Doo" was something of an update and was perfectly good, as where the cartoon movies such as "Scooby Doo on Zombie Island" and "Scooby DOo and The Witch's Ghost". And aparently, according to wikipedia, Shaggy is now a millionnaire and has pimped out the Mystery Machine into some kind of quasi James Bond transforming car. And Scooby snacks have nano technology in them which do random things to scooby, such as make him inflate or shrink him. This is a mini summary of the series: "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo have a mission: armed with an updated Mystery Machine, a loyal robot servant named Robi, their new riches, and the new and improved Scooby Snacks, they must stop the evil plans of Phinius Phibes and save the world." Why do studios feel the need to "update" classics just for the sake of cashing in?
