JK dusted off

Ok, we all love this new server, but some of us got hopes up for some old skool JK and perhaps MOTS.

Time: 8pm EST Friday 29th November
Level: Rolling 10mins Vanilla Levels
Force Level: Full Force
Mod: JCNGL Skinpack 4

For those who wish to play PM me and I'll try sort out a way to get the skinpack to you.

I will send the zip, which is something like 8MB to a few people eg: pat-fett, Aragorn327 etc and I'll direct those who PM me to them to get it sent to them via MSN/ICQ/AIM. Or we could upload it to the JO Yahoo site. We can discuss this, this week.

I've cleaned off the rust and back in form.

Then we played "Jedi HighSchool". Never played that before and me and pat were close but I scrapped through

Bex got pissy and wanted to play JO.

 

Yes that was funny. Took me a bit to get used to playing again. A bit stiff after playing JO. JO has improved my JK skills though.

Na, getting into JK again was fun. So lame with the saber - but the rail and conc are better guns than their equavalent in JO I feel.

You have to admit that after I remembered to turn always running and the crosshair on I had you on the run for a bit on JHS.

You had 19 Me 11 and I forget what Becca had. But she had other problems.....

 

lol, yea that Jedi High School is a random level if ever I've played one.

Strange - good game that one though.

Bex kept getting annoyed at me for killing her when she'd try and get up the elevator. She thought she'd get me but you did. hehe

 

On the Bespin level, did you use tricks in the environment like the wind tunnel or dropping those mobile boxes to attack eachother?

 

No. But we know that you can. The wind tunnle is cool.

 

Just asking because I downloaded the demo, and that map was included. It looked like there were a lot of tricks that could be used.

 

So then. The seervar is all good. And Jeff, I need to kick your ass.

I will, but I have to install teh game, and have you send me lots of files. I'll IM you....

 

Well, I sent the skinpack to Aragorn, who then deleted it. DOLT. But somehow he found it again and all is good. So we tested it, and the skins didn't work. I'll try and find out what the problem is (could be Aragorn didn't start with PC or didn't activate the mod). But we had a good 5min game in Can Yun oh Ace is? and I killed Aragorn, and I did not fall to a single shot from him, though I fell to my death a few times from the Conc space trying to jump in the water.

So Aragorn's pissed off at me for not dieing, but we'll sort that out later.

Anyone keen for some classic mayhem in a JK game tonight? Anyone want the skinpack? PM me.

Doesn't *HAVE* to be, but FF is always fun. When these other people get their A's into G we might be able to properly organise this Jawa vs Stormies game. If not, we can just play a normal JK game whenever.
