Like I mentioned in the meeting yesterday, JKOC.com has gone down while our domain repropagates across the web. It should take between 24-48 hours...

PM me here, if you have questions...

something's been goofy for too long, in fact, it was supposed to be almost seamless, so i put in a support ticket with my hosting company.

    here's the reply...
    *********************************
    Hi Brian,

I'm not sure how this happened but you were given the wrong name server IPs in your info email. The correct IPs are:
    69.41.x.x
    69.41.x.x

I will send you a corrected info email. I apologize for this and hope no inconveniences have arisen because of it.

Let us know if we can assist you in anything.

    Kind Regards,
    Definitive Support

    AND SO....

i updated the host nameservers and we'll be all set as soon as they propagate... sorry bout the delay guys... we'll be up hopefully in 24-36 hrs...

ok, finally got the bulk of the problems worked out with my host... first problem, not my fault... second problem, my fault...

regardless, i just have to restore a backup of the site files and duplicate the database to a new account. then we'll be golden...

should hapen this evening i hope... i'll put up a downtime page on both the backdoor and the main domain name...

once that's handled, we'll be and up and running again...

EDIT: database was backed up by my hosting company... they rule... shouldn't be long...

SECOND EDIT: or they just replicated the tables... didn't populate them... crap

Is that why neither the regular or the temporary sites will work this morning?

backup ran during the night... i shut down the back-up so we'd have the most current DB and lose the least possible data...

    aaaaaaaaaaaannnnd................. site's up... i rule :p

Yeah, but it's kinda like the Millenium Falcon (ESB) Brian pounds at the hyperdrive with a hydrospanner...and R2 just walks up and flips a switch ;)

    Good job B!

Alright, I guess I can give you your cat back now that the site's up again.

I swear I wasn't really going to hurt it if the site wasn't up by tonight.
