JL = Plastoid Infiltration Droid ???

    In Cestus Deception, Obi-Wan mentions the JL droids (I don't have a page ref). We never get to see these in action, but we do see the plastoid infiltration droids. Are these two the same thing?

    Maybe. The fact that L comes directly after K in the alphabet suggests that the JL may in fact be the next model of JK, but I'm not too sure about that: surely we'd have heard about an advanced model of JK?

    Or perhaps it's like the R5 units, compared to the R2 units they're not particularly good. Maybe the JL droid has the same shell and processor, but isn't geared for combat. Medical droid? Protocol droid?
