I'm good for at least two! Wow, that's early this year. I hope is all Star Wars!! So many Star Wars events this year.

 

If it's a heavily Star-Wars-themed concert, then I'll probably spring for a box seat finally! I'm going to wait and see...

 

Mr. DH has already purchased tickets for the Bowl and I'm not sure if he's got tickets for John Williams. I'll find out if we'll be going with you guys.

Dear god please tell me this isn't the weekend of Comic Con.

 

No, Comic-Con is July 25 - 29.

 

All the e-mail says regarding the concert is the title "John Williams, Maestro of the Movies," so it's probably a concert like last year's, with a sampling.

 

I'm down for one. However, that is the same weekend as the European Celebration and it is a pipe dream of mine to attend. I was planning a trip to Europe anyway in May, but now that I've met so many people from other countries marching in the Rose Parade I just may try to move the date a little and attend the convention there.

Who knows.

OK, guys, we are all set! Talked to Nancy at the Hollywood Bowl, and we have 28 seats (the first and second rows) of section M2. They are a little bit further back this year, but are right in the center. You can go to the Hollywood Bowl website and click on the seating chart and it will take you to a click that will show you the view. I am on the upgrade list if something closer becomes available. They are holding the "super seats" and whatnot for subscribers, so they were not available for group sales yet.

The tickets are only $24.50 this time. I put down the deposit; final payment is due June 1, so we have plenty of time.

 

Wow! Already!? That's fast VK. I'm fine with whatever seats we get. I wouldn't mind the upgrade though. Any seat is a good seat at the Bowl.

 

Well, I wanted to make sure that wherever we sat, we got the first two rows. I think this makes everyone happiest.

Just makin' sure I get to go. If we get our collective rears together and get a group of tix reserved I'll be with the IEFF. The best thing to happen would be if we get seats right behind the ones Helen has reserved!
