V.C, CA John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl

I didn't see this thread anywhere in here and I don't know if your FF has been made aware of it, but the local fan forces are planning to get together to go see John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl. He'll be there 8/29 and 8/30. We are planning to go on 8/30. Currently, the we is OC, LA, and SD FF. I'm posting this message as an invitation to IE, Ventura, and Mojave FF. Well, this forum didn't have as much to catch up on as my other regular ones.

It also didn't help I had to re-format my computer when I got home.

 

Kai is on tour until mid August but I know he wants to go to the John Williams thing. So I guess that's a total of 4 tickets for Kai and I (his girlfriend will want to go and someone will probably come with me as well).

Who knows... I guess I have until August to work on that. With my luck I'll end up scalping the ticket

I'd probably say 3, but I'll say 4 to be safe (if they're the $3 ones, if not, then no thank you ). I think Mike will be interested in going.

Ok everyone, I've waited to long to do this and it needs to be done. I need to know if you can make this event no later than next Tuesday (7/15/03). That will be the drop dead date. If I haven't received a PM from you by that time, I won't be able to get you a ticket.

We're getting the $6 tickets (just slightly better seating than the $3 ones).

Also, as a note, we may not be able to all sit together (wouldn't it have been nice though ). I will get as many tickets as I can for as close together as I can. If I'm not able to get tickets for everyone (the total now stands at 53) then I will inform those that I'm unable to get tickets for.

I'm running a little behind on this, so I'm gonna try to get it taken care of by the week after Comic-Con.

UPDATE: They have what seems to be a large number of $12 tickets available. The $6 tickets seem to be getting slim (I can probably get 11 of them, but they'll be in 3 different rows).

Please please please let me know if $12 tickets are ok. If a majority of people want $12 tickets, I'm going to get them. I can always get $6 ones for the people that don't want them.

 

$12 is ok by me... whatever it takes to get large blocks of seats, basically.

 

Yeah, $12 are fine, if it means more of us get to be together!
