Following on from the enormously successful Music of Hollywood concert performed last summer in Canada Square Park, the LSO returns to Canary Wharf with an even bigger and better movie spectacular. This year's free concert will feature the finest moments of John Williams, a composer synonymous with the most glittering and heroic music ever to be produced for the silver screen.

I could be wrong, but I think they might play some Star Wars.... :p

    Get your costumes ready people!!

    Friday 15th July
    7:30pm
    Canada Square Park, Canary Wharf

You going in costume, or are you not faithful enough to Star Wars? :p

Edit: The gloves are off now. I forgot, you cannot take off your gloves, they are part of your arms Raj_Vader.

No tickets - just turn up! Its organised by the Canary Wharf corporation, they put on public events in the Square, to liven things up a bit. Its completely free!!!

I'd suggest that we meet up before hand and head down together, pick out a good spot ;)

Wow! anyone who can find a stunning meet like this deserves to be CR!

if only there were an opening for one...

It may even attract people from outside of London, such national unity through the smaller chapters is surely what fanforce is all about

This message was funded by the friends of Raj_Vader organisation

This should probably be posted on the main board
Some people might want to make an effort to come down to London for something like this

Great to have all the Williams Classics
But that would meant this concert could go on for hours

Any idea how long it lasts exactly?

I'm guessing it'll be around 1-2 hours. At any rate, it'll be over when it starts getting dark 'cos its in a park! :p

I'm guessing the weather will be good, so might try for a little evening picnic (i.e. Pizza!!!) :D

Surely your armour is waterproof Richie.... :p

'Tis a good point though! One of those theme-park plastic poncho things might be handy. Ties in well with Alton Towers too :D :D

I won't be wearing the armour there
    Plus it would probably rust

Though I might come in my Indie Hat, just for the fun of it

And yes, a plastic poncho would be useful

Let me know if this becomes an official "meet" kind of thing. I'll get an announcement put up on the fanforce website news.

    That would be most helpful
I'll try phoning up Canary Wharf nearer the event to see if they can tell us more about it
