ST John Williams scored TFA - incl. Soundtrack discussion

Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen...

Hearing something like that come right out of the directors' mouth is as good as gold...add this to John Williams himself saying he wants to do the music and there you have it.

 

HELL YES. Now we know for sure the crawl and ending will be back just as it was.

 

Great, more Williams Star Wars music is always a good thing.
At least I can rest assured that the soundtrack won't let me down.

 

The sad part is unless John Williams wants to pull a Clint Eastwood and work until he's 105 - Williams might not be able to ever score the rest of the sequels. At least Episode VII and probably Episode VIII will be touched by his genius scoring abilities. Say hello to something as epic as Duel of Fates and Battle of the Heroes again.

 

Williams will be 89 if he gets through the ST, that's not so old these days. We all hope he lives that long and beyond.

I wouldn't expect him to score any of the spin-offs, plenty of other decent movie composers who can have a shot with those.

 

So let me get this straight; we thought Williams is confirmed, yet he isn't, and there's still the uncertainty of him scoring VIII and IX?

 

Yes! SW music is John Williams. Not to mention the excellent work he's done in so many other great movie soundtracks for decades too.

 

please don't die mr. Williams! we need you for the rest too... (you're my only hope)

 

Best news. I couldn't imagine a Star Wars film without John Williams at the Musical helm.

 

I'm pretty sure that the music comes after the filming is complete and post production has commenced.

John Williams? The classical guitarist? To score Star Wars? Oooooh, John Will.....forget it.

 

Robin Williams?

 

Actually, I think John Williams' kid Joseph Williams will do the score in his stead (if John passes away).
Then Joseph can reunite with his band Toto, and THEY can do the soundtrack...
(Dune, anyone?)

 

How about Williams Shakespeare?

 

And care with the rapturous amount of attention it deserves..
