Does it means "death"?

Probably symbolic of that. Some emotional parting.

 

Hmm..the news of JW finishing the score only dropped a few days ago. And now we have the complete OST listed? Something smells fishy, and I'm not talking about the contents of Baldrick's underpants..

 

While Williams' soundtracks are notoriously out of order, this one looks to fit.

1. Main Title and the Attack on the Jakku Village
Opening crawl, Poe lands and sees the attack. Ends up captured.

2. The Scavenger
Rey scavenging the Star Destroyer on Jakku.

3. I Can Fly Anything
Poe and Finn escape the Star Destroyer.

4. Rey Meets BB-8
Rey finds BB-8.

5. Follow Me
Rey and Finn escape the TIEs on Jakku.

6. Rey's Theme
What it sounds like. Likely an Album track and not specifically tied to any one scene.

7. The Falcon
The Falcon escape from Jakku.

8. That Girl with the Staff
Rey uses her staff on the Giant Freighter.

9. The Rathtars!
The livestock attacks on the Freighter.

10. Finn's Confession
Finn admits to being a Stormtrooper to Han.

11. Maz's Counsel
The flashback.

12. The Starkiller
Starkiller test fires on Maz's.

13. Kylo Ren Arrives at the Battle
What it sounds like.

14. The Abduction
Kylo kidnaps Rey.

15. Han and Leia
Han & Leia's awkward reunion.

16. March of the Resistance
Resistance theme. Most likely another album track.

17. Snoke
Scene with Snoke, Kylo, Hux most likely.

18. On the Inside
Han, Finn, Rey, and Chewie inside Starkiller base.

19. Torn Apart
Kylo silences the conversation forever.

20. The Ways of the Force
Rey accepts her destiny and picks up the saber after Finn is injured.

21. Scherzo for X-Wings
Most likely another album track.

22. Farewell and the Trip
Rey says goodbye to Leia, Finn, and Poe and leaves on the Falcon with Chewie.


23. The Jedi Steps and Finale
There's Luke! The end.

 

How so?

The CD version is one thing while the actual final music soundtrack is another.

I don't see any particular connection between the two in a 1:1 relation.

The soundtrack is out on the 18th. It's printed and ready to go worldwide.

The refinements and additions that JJ likes to do are different than the way it's usually done for most movies. JJ likes to record and re-record the same pieces and makes "live-edit" changes.

 

I'd be a lot more suspicious if it was a reseller but this seems to be amazon france themselves. Even if it turns out to be incorrect, you'd have to wonder where Amazon would get such a list?

 

Normally, I might agree but this was Amazon France.
Somebody pushed a button or didn't redact something properly. Unless you stop all merchandising, this is inevitable.

I'm sure there have more things like this that haven't been caught and got yanked back before they were discovered. I'm still waiting for a Book or toy leak to give away Rey's parentage.

So take care, Blackadder, this one is almost certainly legit.

 

Oh well. We'll see how well it matches up when the CD gets released. Just seems odd Amazon would be permitted to release this information nearly a month before, what has been, a highly secretive film is even released. One which isn't even going to be available for critics to view. But whatever

 

The movie is released internationally on the 16th so even if things don't flow out from the 14th and 15th premieres everything will be out before the 18th never mind the 17th.

Track lists are not that important.

Amazon Italy leaked the track list for Captain America: The Winter Soldier a bit too early, iirc. So this wouldn't be the first time an Amazon site did this.

 

Completely agree. It makes me wonder how angry Delray books is going to be. They held publication of the hardback novelization until early January at Lucasfilms insistence. The Ebook drops the same day as the premiere but Lucasfilm was afraid of having the hardbacks floating around early. Costs Delray some serious bank missing out on Christmas sales. And it will all have leaked by then anyway.

It's going to be called Torn Apart? Is this real?

If so that should be a powerful piece of music.

 

Critics are seeing the movie on the 14th. They got their invites yesterday.

 

Just 3 weeks to release, I totally expected the track list to be leaked by now. And Amazon has been known to do this.

PS: "Finale" is just the end credits.

 

I'm not sure I think these are real.

 

What is odd to me is that Rey has two personal themes, for whatever reason.

 

Much better song titles than on the Phantom Menace OST. If you know what I mean.

 

The other Rey tracks refer to the action on the screen more than a character's theme i.e. Duel of the Fates.

EDIT: Have we heard the word Rathtars before?

 

Interesting sequence. If this is about Rey's abduction and it fits with Han holding a disturbed Leia as we've seen it in the teaser, might it mean that Rey is indeed their daughter? or maybe even Leia's niece?
