On behalf of my wife, Martha, my son, Liam, Charlie, and myself, I'd like to thank everyone for coming and making the BBQ a fun time. Luckily the weather held up for us and that I didn't run out of food!!!

And, yes, the coolers are still outside. Too lazy to get them. Maybe I'll just leave them for next years BBQ.

I wish I could say we had a cutthroat Monopoly game, but no one got a Monopoly and we cashed out and Phil won. That game needs more $100's!

I'll echo everyone and give thanks to Jodo and Mrs. Jodo. Homemade torilla chips...MMMMM. Liam is just cuter everytime I see him.

Well, the 3 on the left look fairly menacing, but the guy on the far right looks like I could own him easily.

 

So Phil won the Monopoly too....hmmmmmm...remind me never to go against him at anything....he was the only one to get a question right at the line reunion party too.....

Phil....you rock....

and I'll grab one of my lightsabers and take you all on....

 

I really only "won" Monopoly because we stopped the game when we did. A lot of the pricier properties had already been bought, so I had more cash on me in the game. It's hard to say how the game would have gone over an extended period of time.

I did really well in our little trivia contest, though.

I had a great time! Thanks again Mark & Martha for letting me come over & play with Liam & Charlie.
It was great meeting some new folks & seeing a few faces I hadn't seen in awhile.
And Sithy, I now have a bit of respect for you because of your lightsaber handling & that dip.

 

I am uploading my BBQ pictures to my Yahoo briefcase even as I type this. The link will be available once the upload is done, until I can send them over to Hazmatt for posting to chicagoforce.org eventually.

 

Yahoo is refusing to display the photos after several attempts at uploading. Anyone have any other suggestions?

 

Email them to me and I'll put them on my site.

EDIT: actually, I can give you an ftp for my site. It would be faster if you want it.

I only took like 4 pix the whole day, I always forget.

 

I sent 'em to Hazmatt already, along with suggested captions, but I don't know when he'll have a chance to post the pics to the website. Hell, they might be up there even now!
