Joiner King question(spoilers)

    At the end of the book when Rayner says Jaina and Zekk are no longer welcomed, does he mean he ended the connection he had to them wiht the battle meld form the Mrkyr mission? or did he end the connection they had to the nest? or both?

    Sorry if this question is a bit hard to understand, I just typed what my head was thinking.
