Brilliant work Jon. As a budding artist I've been keeping track of the stuff you've been doing in this thread. A bit of a general question, have you done anything professionally that I might have seen? If not, do you have anything lined up?

Anyway, to the request. I'd love to see you do a Star Wars movie poster in your style, maybe recreate the posters for Episodes 1 or 2, or even do an Episode 3 poster!

This request might seem a little complex, but it is something I have wanted to see rendered for some time now: How about a pic of Obi-Wan charging into battle on his lizard mount on the planet Utapau? You could have him holding onto the reigns with one hand, and having him holding his lightsaber into the air with the other while he gives a war-cry. And you could have a bunch of Episode III Clonetroopers running on the ground all around his lizard mount.

THAT, IMO, would be AWESOME!!

Please do it! Please, oh please, oh please!

Or do one of Anakin Force-choking Padme in the military control room on Mustafar with Obi-Wan yelling at Anakin to stop. I think some people in here need to see that scenario so that they can begin to accept that it's going to happen.

BTW--to all artist good at doing buildings and landscapes: Can someone make a picture of Coruscant with Clonetroopers all over the streets and with Assault Cruisers on patrol just above the skyscrapers, and with military patrol vehicles in the busy traffic of the skyways? I think we need to see that.

Nice work! Do you start drawing from scratch on Illustrator or do you scan in finished/inked art work for color/shading/finish? Just curious...

 

I draw on paper, scan and color them up in Illustrator, leaving me with an extremely small file size that i can export in flash and blow up however big i want without losing quality... works great for websites

 

You're work is amazing. I would love to see a Zam Wesell if you ever have the chance. Good stuff!
