Phx Joss Whedon Rules! (ie The Buffy and Angel Thread)

So, I just finished watching the season premiere during lunch (had softball game last night, so I had to skip it)

What can I say. nice writing by joss, interesting images inthe cut scenes (who was the girl looking at the blood smear on the wall? Eve, or the little girl from the white room?)

Nice introduction to spike, "Blondie Bear!"

all in all, good episode, still waiting to see what pans out from the actor from conversations with dead people (the ability to steal a scene from the leads makes him fun to watch)

Oh, and fred was all sorts of yummy ;-)

 

we saw the girl staring at the smear, but didn't ID her either... but that's why we got it on tape. (well that, and a friend also knew she was going to miss it)

Knox (aka knoxie) -- lots of room for his character to go.. is he evil? is he turning evil? is he turning good? will he and fred be an item? will fred turn evil despite him?
and yes amy acker is a cutie.

i watched it again last night, and in the one scene where it is late and the gang is sitting around the conference room table reviewing the evil client list, there was a panned shot of the group, and it hit me that we see the heroes, and there's no Cordy and that seemed odd.

 

YAY for no Cordy!!!

 

On Fx, they are showing the story arc where Buffy and Dawn's mom died.
Some nice episodes.

 

B is stuck up. She just doesn't enjoy the slay of the game like I do.

Her boyfriend tortured the hell out of her watcher, even killed his girlfriend. Yet when the time came, she didn't want to get all whoop assy on her boyfriend for the evil deeds he did. Yeah she's real loyal to her watcher.
