Judging Kyp

If Kyp blew up Cardia when the old Jedi council was around, How would they treat him?

 

I'm sure they'd be none too pleased.

 

Kyp probably wouldn't have been a Jedi under the old system and if he blew up Carida then he'd be executed as a mass murderer. He wouldn't have the whole he's a Jedi so don't kill him excuse.

An intriguing scenario. The older Jedi were much more rigid and set in their ways. A Jedi of such power like Kyp would have been watched very closely from birth, especially since he has shown Dark Side tendencies. With that said, if the Council had the foresight to see Kyp's potential for misguided destruction, this would most likely not have happened. But, saying that it did, the Council wouldnt have had him killed, but more likely sent him into exile or something.

 

I doubt he would have been trained in the first place.

For all his strength, Kyp would never have been trained. He was too old, and far too angry.

If another Jedi had done it, he'd be driven out of the Order and handed over to the Republic for justice.
