Calgary July 19th - Star Wars Sun & Salsa Fest

When: Sunday July 19th, 2009. Some of us will be there at 8 am to set up the table. Come any time. Call me if you would like to help with the table. The festival runs for 11 am til 5 pm.

Where: Kensington, Our table will be just off of Kensington Road on 12th street across from St. John's fine Arts School.

Details: They are giving us a $100.0 table for free if we have people in costumes!!! There is no power or water. Bring your own water. If you want to work the table bring a chair.
This is a shared table with all of the Star Wars groups. The wind or rain could be a factor, so we have to think about what to have at our booth. There will be over 100,000 people at the festival...tons of kids. Also, it usually very very hot. Water water water...

Thanks for posting this Scot. I just haven't had the time to get to it. This looks like a fun event. I should be able to make this one.

 

I just received the vendor permit. We are good to go!!!

Done some juggling at work and with staff housing, and it looks like I may be able to make it!

 

I guess I should ask about parking.

Also, any recommendations for those of us in costume? Will we have to gear up at our cars?
