Seattle, WA July 4th Meeting and softball game

I email'ed John as to whether there was a reason he wasn't posting the info about the 4th of July meeting to message boards. He said there really wasn't, and replied, "Feel free to mention it if you would please" so.....

This is a copy/paste from the email he sent 6/25:
"Just wanted to invite all of you to Marymoor Park for this years 4th of July Celebration. We'll start the festivities off at 2:00 pm with a game of softball for all ages (see below for details), have a BBQ dinner and catch the fireworks once it's dark.

If you will be attending this year, please email and let me know if you can volunteer to bring food and/or drink.

WHEN: 2:00 pm till fireworks are over

Well, it's that time of year again. Time to dust of the old baseball glove for the Seattle Star Wars Society's 2nd annual softball challenge!
After the success of last years game, we've decided to do it again! Last
year the Yavin Red Squad pulled off the victory, but this year the Mos
Eisly Dewbacks are looking for payback.

The Game will be on the 4th of July at Marymoor park. The field will be
determined the day of, so look for the SSWS banner on one of the fields.

I was on the Red Squad last year, and we beat the Dewbacks 22-11.

I'm not going, even though I have no plans for the 4th... y'all are too intimidating. =oP I think I'll sit at home and sulk.

Why not come out and meet some of us. We're not as evil as people make us out to be.

Haha... well, I'm still thinking about it... but I might end up going to the Mariners game with my grandparents (they have cool season tickets, woohoo!) so... yeah. =) I'm sure you all are nice people, just way older than me!
