Provo July activity! ~Fri., July 20, 7:30 pm~

What: Harry Potter party before the book pre-release parties
Date: Friday, July 20
Time: 7:30 pm
Place: Ish has gracefully offered her place, PM her or me for directions

Come to this party before the party! Bring some snacks or treats, come dressed in your favorite wizard/witch/muggle costumes, be ready to watch one of the movies, and at 10 or thereabouts, we'll split to go to our pre-release party of choice at various bookstores! (Though some of us will be headed to the BYU Bookstore one.)

Why?: Cause... with so many Harry Potter things already going on this month and two birthdays of FanForce members, it was just easier to combine the FanForce activity with something already going on than try to get everyone together for a 5th or 6th time.

Yes, we're tragically/happily going to a pre-midnight showing fundraising showing for my mom's school.

 

Ah, yes, but they can still come to the midnight showing and see it again, sillies, as I already pointed out.

Well, I guess just so long as our party isn't the same night as the real Harry Potter Party at Barnes and Noble. I work there. There's no way in heck I'll get out of it.

Well, it's confirmed. Me and Katey will be seeing Harry Potter 5 at 6 p.m. on July 10 at the Gateway. We'll let you know if we're coming to a midnight showing as well.

Yeah you have. I said the other night that this wasn't gonna work for an activity cause we were all going to different theaters. Didn't even know anyone else besides the regular 4 or 5 was even planning on coming to the July activity, so I hope more do come!

Hmmm, a pre pre-release party. Speaking of that I still need to decide where i am going to get my book.I wonder where it is cheapest

 

BYU Bookstore has it for $24.99 and you'd get to hang out with us. Isn't that incentive enough?

 

How long does it take for them to release these in paperback? $24.99... ow.

Mia, if you'd like, once you've finished the other ones, you're welcome to borrow mine until they have it in paperback or you get it for a birthday or something.

 

Oh, LOL, don't worry, I was going to ask one of my many friends if I could borrow 7 when I'm done with the other 6? I plan on getting them all in a boxed set anyway, remember? Hmm, the question is if they're gonna release a boxed set in hardcover or paperback.

They'll probably do both sets, but the boxed set for 1-4 hardcover was $70, and for 1-6 in paperback was the same.

I'll be bringing my hair and makeup stuff to the party on Friday, 'cause for one I have to do Ish's hair and makeup. So if anyone wants anything done, lemme know. I'm apparently not doing B&N, they never got hold of me.

Coolness! We should also decide which movie to watch beforehand to make sure it's available. I think my parents have them all on DVD.

I ended up getting my book at Barnes and Noble. I wasn't able to make it to the pre party activity because my friend and I were busy making finishing touches on our costumes. But I did end up getting a lot of compliments on my costume, and requests for photos. It was a really fun night.
