The library is available but I thought it migh tbe cool to try and make this one a BBQ, checking a couple other places..

 

I'd say Chris/Amber's if they would have us. We've had meetings at most people's houses that have the room and we've not done that one yet. Or Galactic Empire.

 

as much as I like GE, I would be worried about the room, or at elast the constant distraction!

I am going to be on vacation with my family
so I can't be there.

 

Possibly Cats clubhouse and a swimming party? Of course we would have you guys its if you would take the drive!

 

Cat got with me today, and said the slbuhouse requires a 250$ deposit just to use it which is returned after the meeting, so Im looking elsewhere...maybe the library again, but I have a few other places to check, but what about Reid Park? A ramada by the playground?

 

Phil has offered his place, most of us have been there, so honestly give me your opinion if you woul dlike to have itt here or not.


Personally, I like the place, BUT I think it might get small fast, and I wouldnt want to risk breaking an expensive prop. Also, he has no chairs, and we wou dhave to put foodstuffs on a folding table taking more room.

SO Id rather do it somewhere else this time around. Your thoughts?

 

I appreciate Phil's offer, but we really need to be somewhere that we can sit in chairs.

 

Does it have to be cash? Wont a $250 check work? It is only a deposit........

 

My 2 cents. We have options. We should not have to put money down to have a meeting place. It just feels like one step away from having to collect dues or something.

 

Cat gave me the impression it was cash, but Im not sure, only she can answer that

 

You all are more than welcome to have it at the house. I will be in Phx but Chris is usually competent to so things alone. I wont be back in Tucson untill after 8pm so I will have to miss this one!

a check is fine.. you get the check back or the HOA Pres shreds it when he checks the clubhouse after the meeting day is over no cash required.

It has already been put in. I need 3 volunteers besides myself to stay for the ENTIRE meeting to help me clean up so I do not have to pay for any cleaning literally.

I will bring the brats and prob some tater or macaroni salad.
