So NM July Meeting

Hope it was okay that I started this topic.

Any ideas for where the July meeting will be held? El Paso perhaps?

Other than that short imput I have nothing else at the moment.

 

Hi SW Jaggy, I don't mind you starting the topic, and I don't think Angie or anyone else will either. From what I gathered at the last meeting, or next meeting will be in El Paso at Barnes and Noble. I'm by no ways official, but that's what I gathred. Angie or Britt feel free to correct me!!

 

Okay cool. I know I might be asking too many questions but: By any chance do you know which Barnes & Noble? I know there is one in the West Side and one on the East. Also the date and time.

 

Grr. I was going to wait to start this thread until we knew the exact B&N, because it will be Brittani (gneiss_jedi) who knows, and she's off at camp right now. Please hold off about two days, and I will be able to extract this information from her, as well as what will be discussed and all that. I promise, I have everything written down, if you people will just wait til I have everything cleared up. I didn't want half the thread to be "so where is it?!" like it was for June.

How nice of you guys to wait for me! The meeting will be July 10 at 4:30 (i'm pretty sure) at the Barnes and Noble off of I-10 on Viscount. See ya then!!!

Yeah, I will be able to make it too, I think. I think my mom is still going to be in the hospital and my dad with her. So I might need a ride. You think you could give me a ride SWJaggy?

 

I should be there. There is talk of me possibly having to work but that will probably not happen. So hopefully I will see everyone on Sunday.

Bad news everyone. I'm in Flagstaff, Arizona right now, and my parents have informed me that I probably won't make it to El Paso in time for the meeting. And, as our Co-CR won't be around, I'll appoint our next in command, Brittani (gneiss_jedi) to run things. Brittani, don't worry about making a big deal out of it. Just do the best you can- you've seen me and Mandy do what we can, and you've been to a Mos Alba meeting. I'll be on and offline this week, so PM me/email me/IM me if you have any questions.

Aw, you'll be gone Angie? We'll miss you. I probably won't be able to go to this meeting either, I hate to sound like a leech but I need a ride. I can't drive in El Paso myself (for one thing our car wouldn't make it!!) Rats!

 

Aw, I won't get to meet many of the regulars.

 

Britt'll be there, and she's a regular! Not to mention, it's hard to call anyone regular yet- we're so very new.

Bob, you might want to ask Brittani for an agenda. I gave her a few things I'd like her to talk about, but she will be in charge of the show this weekend. PS: Thanks for getting our header changed.

I don't remember who decided to be in charge of the charity stuff but I have the newest one going around. So just in case you want to add it to the scheduled topics for the meeting we have United Way of Otero County Day of Caring Thursday, 8 September 2005. The contact number for it is 437-8400.
