I believe, with all the talk on the other thread, that you can basically count on the meeting being on July 1st, 1 pm, Round Table in Natomas. Look for the large group talking loudly about Comic Con, C4, and who shot first.

Hello to the group...

I'm new to Northern California (military wife -- hubby is stationed at Travis AFB) and was excited to find your site. I've been skulking around for a few days -- I hope this is the right place to post my request!

I'd love to drive up and come to the July meeting -- can I just jump in? If it's Ok, can someone post the exact street address for Round Table so I can mapquest it?

The Round Table is located off I-80 in Sacramento at Truxel and San Juan. I'm sure one of us can PM you additional details!

We'd love to see you at the meeting. If you need directions, just let us know. We have had meetings here for the past few months and it seems to work out well for our group size (for now). Your hubby is also more than welcome if he gets some free time from the base.

I found the address for Round Table (3291 Truxel Road sound right?) and it actually will take me less time to get there than I had expected. Dixon is as far north as I've traveled, so I can't wait to see at least a little of Sacramento.

Thanks for the offer to carpool Shasa! I?ll have to PM you as we get closer and I?ll let you know what I?m doing. As I mentioned earlier, I think my hubby MAY come along and if he does, we?ll follow you up. There?s always the possibility that the Air Force will beckon and he won?t be able to come, and in that case, I?d love to drive up with you! I?ll keep you posted.

I know I?m just a newbie around here, but I?m wondering if everyone (anyone) is planning on attending Celebration? I am so TOTALLY excited to finally be living close enough to attend! I was planning on saving my pennies to attend SW Weekends next year, but now I?m thinking I?ll go to LA instead. Anyone else? I?m terrified that the hotel bill alone will make me poor, but I am just determined to get there one way or another. I?d love to start making plans, but I don?t want to go alone! (I?ll have to leave hubby home with the kids) Has anyone gone before? I?d love to hear the scoop!!

 

We just moved this past week and have been totally without internet access. Now that we are hooked back up, we can catch up on everything

We (the Darth Di Kum family) will be at the meeting on the 1st. I am particularly happy to get to see everyone since my schedule has kept me away from the last couple of gatherings.

Jedidoria - Several of us have attended the past Celebrations and I know a lot of us will be at C4. There will certainly be more info on hotels and caravans and such once we get closer. I'm just trying to get through Comic Con first.

just got an email from gen-con hotels and badge prices wont be ready til fall so i guess we will have to wait til late september early october
