Richmond,VA July Meeting

So, let's go back to what made this a great group.

How about we all post some ideas on where to meet on the 15th.


I for one have missed the Vincenzo's (Sorry Eddie if I spelled it wrong)
Red Robin at either Short Pump or Va Center works too.

What say you...?

 

We haven't been to Vincenzos in a long time, that might be a good place. Plenty of room and great food.

 

West End sounds good...dont know if I can make it down to Colonial Heights.
I know that the June Meeting got off track but since the West End was supposed to be where it was going, I vote for Red Robin,
We could even go to the Vietnamese Restaurant out here, House of Vietnam....good food and I know the owner. and he could save us plenty of room/tables.

Yeah man, lets go down to Colonial Heights. Thats good eatin down there! Eddie ate me under the table at that place. I dont think we've been down there in the past year & half. OR we could just hold our sub chapter South of the Riva Fanforce meeting there! I wanna try to make this meeting regardless of where it goes.

Having missed the June meeting, I feel a "disturbance" in the force.
I need to get together with my Star Wars fan friends!

 

No worries dude, that disturbance was just my Border Scramble Burrito talking back.

 

I would say that since the August thing will be Joel's house that a trip down to the south makes sense. It has been a dang long time. And the food is Frackin' Amazing!

 

Are we settled yet? How about Colonial Heights since we'll be across the river in August for the cookout?

I wont be able to attend, but I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the party.

Please make sure to put down on the "talk about" list, what everyone is bringing to the picnic so that I can get that straight.

Tony's is good for sure but that defeats the point of heading down Troy and Eddie's way this time.

We DEFIANTLY need to go there though. Good stuff for sure.

Just wanted to say thank you so much to all those who came out last night. As to be expected, I had a great time with the meet & greet with all of you especially those that crossed the riva and headed way down south! I'm sure the acting CR will post the details but I just want to say......CONGRATULATIONS DANNY!

Great talking about Star Wars, and loved the special "show n' tell" item from Japan.

 

What they are hinting to is that since Troy decided during dinner last night to not accept his nomination, Danny is the only candidate running. We therefore do not have to carry out an election, and will pass the torch of CR directly to Danny.

I had a great time, it is always great to see dear friends that I don't get the chance to see often enough. I have some pics, but I probably will not be able to get them posted until the weekend.

I am telling ya; last night was great! The food was awesome and the turn out was about 8 or 9. Not too shabby for South of the river meeting.

Can't wait for the party next month!
