Welcome to the July New Stories Index for the Beyond the Saga Board!

This Index will be updated daily with new fan fiction stories from this board, and at the end of the month all of these stories will be combined to make a master list, along with fics from both the Before the Saga and The Saga Boards. Keep in mind I?m on EST, so if you posted a fic, and don?t see it on the index; check the day previous or next day?s index posts to see if it was a victim board time vs. real time (for me anyway).

I'll be maintaining this Index. If you've got any questions, please feel free to send me a Private Message. While I will be checking for new stories as often as I can, you?re welcome to send me the information for your fic via PM.

Challenge responses will not be indexed as they are to be included in the Fan Fiction Master Challenge Index Thread located on the Resource board. However, if you would like me to add it to the month?s current New Stories Index, just PM me the info, and I?ll add it to the day?s index log.

To make it easier for me when gathering the story data, please headline your fic with the following information in the first post. The shot Leia takes at the bunker on Endor is a fatal one. On the Death Star, Luke feels her death as he is dueling with his father and the emotion pushes him over the edge, causing him to kill Vader before coming to his senses. He escapes from the Death Star before it blows up. Grief-stricken, he retreats to a secluded planet alone.
The victory is an empty one for Han. He begins to feel that it was Luke's fault that Leia died, Luke's desertion. Fueled by a desire for revenge, he begins an obsessive hunt to track his former friend down and make him pay. Someone else is also on Luke's trail--a certain Emperor's Hand. Han and Mara's paths collide, and they form an unlikely partnership on the quest to find Luke Skywalker. Also, the dialogue in the first chapter is taken from the ROTJ novelization, written by James Kahn. I wanted to keep it canon until we reached the sharp left turn dictated by furrylittlebantha!
