The June RMFF meeting will be held at Village Inn at I-25 & Colorado on Saturday 6/20 @ 2pm. Meal first and meeting to follow. As our biggest events have passed for the season, look forward to less planning this month and more reflection.. on syrup, Supreme Leader Snoke, gravy, etc.
Right now we are planning the BBQ to be at the home of FanForced & DieWompRatDie either 7/11 or 7/18.
I believe he-guy will be on vacation on the 18th, which is why he's putting forth the suggestion for having it on the 11th. However, we're going to Drums Along the Rockies the night of the 11th, so we can host the shindig on the 18th.

Feedback for next year included bigger rooms and less programming -Trivia – The panel was very popular; we had to turn away approximately 100 people. DieWompratDie reported receiving fabulous help. Questions were quite a bit harder this year. Considering a 10 and under panel for next year -Make-A-Wish – over $13,000 was raised (average wish costs around $5000). A request was made to have a donation box at the RMFF table next year NEW BUSINESS -Star Wars Night at Coors Field (Aug 22nd): a thread has been started on the boards to see if we can get together enough people to be considered a group. Order tickets online to get the t-shirt. -Haunting at the Hangar: will be held on Oct 31st this year. Times will likely be either 9-3 or 10-4. -Episode VII Premier: the Continental Theatre seems to be the popular choice to try to arrange an RMFF presence. The costume groups have not received any instructions at this time, but are free to work directly with theatres, if we want to try to combine groups. STAR WARS NEWS -Episode VII: the name of Andy Serkis’s character has been revealed: Supreme Leader Snoke. A large Episode VII presence is expected at San Diego Comic Con. -Merchandise: the first Episode VII merchandise has been released in Mexico: a travel mug OPEN DISCUSSION -SW Anthologies: Forest Whitaker has been rumored to be in Rogue One -An Obi-Wan movie/trilogy is rumored -Bob Iger is rumored to be contemplating a dedicated Star Wars channel GAMING NEWS -Disney Infinity will be adding Star Wars characters. Boba Fett character may be limited to just Playstation consoles -Modes were demoed for Battlefront. Game will feature modes instead of story lines. Game ships in November.
