Challenge June 2016 Word Race! PLEASE POST FINAL COUNTS BY JULY 3RD.

6,502 new words/words rewritten to death since last week, for a grand total of 9,004.

I finished the epic I began in 2014, for realz this time. No more edits and rewrites, other than any typos my beta will catch. It feels weird

2,000 extra words (estimated since half of them are still on notebook paper) over the last week.

 

Im currently sitting at 4266. I'm hoping I can break the 5000 word mark by the 30th. And now I am questioning if I counted ~1200 words I wrote a few nights ago. My brain must be fried.

My count remains at 452 words.

And it is probably going to stay there: I don't talk about my personal life online, but suffice it to say that this has been a hard month. While I can think about writing in the abstract, I still have very little interest in actually doing it, and there is not a way I'm going to write even 1000 words before midnight on July 1. I suppose it's a good thing there will likely be a next time, because for this time, I'm done.

I don't forsee myself getting too many more words in, but I had fun this month just kinda floundering around, doing random vignettes (and a short story that I still gotta work on and finish). But now my muse seems to have gotten an idea for another longer-ish fic that I need to get going on (we should have had this race in July )

I had an super productive evening of over 1000 words on my new fic, bringing my total to 6795.

I am using my own time zone because I'm weird about dates, so my final count is 27412.

I spectacularly failed to follow through most of my plans due to unpleasant events throughout the month.

*Three fic-gifts. Did not happen. Did not happen with the four non-fic awards, either.

"Most of that", yes. All of it, no - some of the chapters have not been complete.

June not complete. August not complete. July consists of a couple of paragraphs.

Wrote 87 words on Aurea. Great (not).

Some prompts ended up in my DDC, I still want to use the rest of them because they're beautiful.
