If you guys vote for a park, please post suggestions as to which one!!!
I would say isotopes park but they are not playing that day. Don't know of any, except like Haynes park in Rio.
There's a nice big park on Eubank and JT with a play area for kids. but there's also a lot of soccer games going on over there. There's also a park right by the TVI Montoya Campus that also has a play area. Or we could steal the park across from the Winrock Mall where the Knights and all those people go.
There is also a nice park, I think Heritage Hills on Ventura just north of Harper.
the one by winrock is good though there is no kids area and the LARPers only are there saturdays which is good - where is our local parks employee?
the Winrock park (Taylor Park I believe) might be good. Lots of trees, somewhat centrally located (at least close to freeway)
And Gardunos is nearby for an after meeting margaritas!
I like that thinking...plus that park is super close to my house. I could walk there...and home after Gardunos.
Don't worry Jess, we'll keep it mellow - just for you
I vote for Hooters. Not the restaurant, just for hooters in general.
So Gwen Stefani is a no go then!
I like the way you think, Scott.
I want her to be there.
Yeah, we need a table to put our stuff on.
This is my 300th post!
You're right Wook, Taylor Park does seem like a great choice.
Hi. Been a long time since I have posted anything but I had to on this one.
There is a park on Pennselvania north of Indian School that I beleve has Playground equipment. The name of the park is Cutler Park.
BTW I won't be able to make this meeting. I have a recurring engagement every 4th Sunday of the month. Everyone have fun.
Taylor Park - great shade, no play area
Heritage Hills - play area, not much shade
El Oso Grande - decent shade and play area
Those were the parks mentioned. My suggestion is Loma Del Norte Park. Huge trees for shade and a new play area. It is a few blocks north of Harper/San Antonio and Wyoming. Head west on Loma Del Norte street from Wyoming and it runs into the park. BTW, I LOVE being at the park on my day off.
let's see horse shoe's beer BBQ hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Hey Jess!! Since you won't be able to make it to the meeting lets just go get tanked this weekend!
good shade and play area? hum... sounds good to me!
Redgek You are a nut!!
Not nuts!!! H-o-o-t-e-r-s!
