Randy- Wow! You brought up some great points. I say we look into Tower Grove again. I would be more than happy to pitch in for the cost of a pavilion.
There would be
enough parking
enough table/eating space
kid proof
playground for the kids
fountain/wading pool for all to play in
fresh air
The only problem would be if it rains.
Just my two cents, but I will go where ever.

 

I have enough space for all of you... The only real problem, (and since it is the weekend) would be the parking.

I am still open though, anyone want me to try the Kirkwood park? Steve just suggested it. I will call in the morning just to check it out.

I vote for Christina's house. This is only a week away. We can have a meeting at Ken's house in the next couple of months (if it's okay with him still) because it'll be REALLY hot then. My kids are coming with me to this one and if there was a pool, I'd be stuck poolside with them. If we have a meeting at Ken's I want to make sure my kids aren't there.

And, I'll bring broccoli casserole and some chips.

 

My vote stands as well. I would prefer to have it at Christina. With having only the weekends to
see my husband, I will only sacrafice a couple of hours to go to the meeting..and she lives very near me.

 

Sounds like a plan to me. I have chicken and veggie kabobs coming.

 

what time of day are we talking cause i work until 5pm but I must say that I make a mean Tuna salad.

Turns out I won't be able to make it now as well. My group of girls and I always do the breast cancer walk and then stuff ourselves silly afterwards to restick all of those calories that we might have burned off.

I had forgotten about it until one of the girls called to find out when I wanted to get our team shirt.

And, we're always open to host. I know that Festus is far for some of you, but we've got a back yard with a playground for the kids, multiple rooms with toys/tv's/video games/whatever and room for everyone to park.

Oh, and we're more then child/spill/clumsy people proof! Have to be with Patrick around. Hee hee!

 

As long as I get parental permission, I certainly have the time to get there after I'm done at the Science Center at 2:00. All I need are directions.

 

My family and I will be there, but I work til 5pm so it will be some time after that. Let me know if I can help set anything up, etc. We might come by before work to drop off food and chairs though.

Maybe we should set this to a little later if many of us won't be there till 5. Say arrive whenever(3,4?), eat at 5:30?

 

Later in the day would be cooler (weather wise) also. Eating at 5:30pm would give me plenty of time to get there. LOL!

 

Any time works for me, just let me know. I have no kids so we can go as long as we want...

We'll have the chips, dip and I also have lots of fresh hamburger if anyone wants a hamburger too.
