BNN News: There is unrest in La Republica! The students of our great nation have been circulating petitions ? against the perceived oppression that they believe is the work of El Presidente and his cabinet! Not, of course, that BNN officially supports any stance questioning the legitimacy or most noble intentions of El Presidente's democratically and fairly elected government.

Sacrifices must be made for the betterment of our great Republic, on all levels. Even I, the great presidente, have known hardship and shall yet again in this round. For their support, JEDIGUNSHIP, JediVegeta, and Daft-Vader shall be allotted 2 million pesos to do with as they wish.

NYCitygurl and DarthSubZero will receive a slap on the wrist by getting a mere half million. A sum I shall join them in receiving.

When we work together, we shall all prosper. Defy authority and there will be consequences. I trust I have made myself clear.

BNN Political News Coverage: In other news, though facing opposition from a minority of La Republica's governing body, El Presidente's latest budget has passed with a vast majority voting in favor of it. Clearly, El Presidente enjoys a very high level of support within the nation's government. Will this support continue, however? Only time will tell.

BNN Breaking News: La Revolución has broken out! Daft-Vader has proclaimed himself the First Rebel, leader of the forces opposing El Presidente's rule! Public announcements by high-ranking members of El Presidente's government are expected shortly, along with proclamations of their continuing allegiance to El Presidente or their new loyalties to the rebel cause. And in this dire hour, where is El Presidente himself? We can only hope he has taken refuge somewhere safe from the menace in the streets, and that the situation does not escalate into a full-blown civil war.

Coming to you live now from La Republica's Treasury, we must report that a rather unusual battle was waged here today. Before even the first shots were fired, General-Bishop JediVegeta's missionaries marched out in front of and addressed the rebel forces in an attempt to convert them to their cause. Sadly for them, they experienced a resounding failure.

One of the General-Bishop's missionaries did achieve a measure of success, however, as we observed him being removed from the battlefield by one of Welfare Minister and Air Force Commander NYCitygurl's escort girls. Shortly after this, one of the regiments from the General-Bishop's 2nd Army Brigade followed another escort girl out of the warzone.

The remaining unit from the 2nd Army Brigade present at the Treasury was then destroyed by an air strike launched by the rebel forces.

Several regiments from the 2nd Army Brigade also barricaded themselves inside the Presidential Palace in preparation for an attack, but experienced only disappointment when nothing happened.

La Republica is truly at war! Fighting is reported as having broken out at the Presidential Palace, while rebel forces march on the Chamber of Deputies and the Radio Station unopposed!

Combat is fierce at the Presidential Palace, where First Rebel Daft-Vader's forces launched an assault on the entrenched troops of General-Bishop JediVegeta. Much fire was exchanged, resulting in three of the four regiments from the 2nd Army Brigade being annihilated, with the First Rebel's own brigade losing only one of its regiments. The General-Bishop's forces retreated, while the First Rebel advanced and seized control of El Presidente's most magnificent and glorious palace. Thankfully, it seems El Presidente himself was not present when the building fell.
