    I liked "Kill Them All!" better, but this one was excellent as well.

    I was very satisfied with both of them, rare for season finales nowadays.

    Yep me too. GotA was kickass but most of what transpired we already knew about since its a prequel. Crixis and Asher for ex. The only thing that caught me off guard was Gannicus surviving but then I heard that in RL he was a General under Spartacus, Crixis, and Onemayus. I knew about those three but not the fourth so we can bet that he will be back in S2 at some point if they go the hist. route.

    Also I believe that the new Spartacus Liam Mcintre's voice was dubbed in on the last scene where they close in on Batiatius eye. It didnt sound like Andy Whitfield's voice to me.

    They were both brilliant in their own ways. I personally loved the interplay between Quintus & Solonius. And while I understand now why Ashur gets no respect from his fellow gladiators, at least in this episode he wasn't a total weasel.

    Yes this was bad news. I was very upset yesterday when I read the news in the Amp forum about his passing. I dont think anyone will be ever able to hold a candle to him as another Sparatcus. McIntrier(sp) has his work cut out for him. He does look good stepping into the role though...that trailer looks great for S2.

    Just finished Gods of the Arena on bluray. It was awesome. Too bad it's only 6 episodes. Now I have to wait a while until the next season is out on bluray. That'll be a while considering it doesn't start until January.:_|

    They ve been replaying S1 every fri to catch people up and last night my fav epi of the series "whore" (s1 ep8) came on. I LOVE THAT ONE!
