Amph Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, Dominion & Camp Cretaceous

The fact that people actually had to ask this because they couldn't discern an April Fools Sci-Fied post a friend of mine wrote up troubles me.

 

Jeff Goldblum is returning in Jurassic World 2.


Who would have thunk it.

 

I think getting Ian Malcolm back into it is more likely than Alan Grant because Grant has dealt with this twice and it's all gone rather horribly and just views the dinosaurs as theme park attraction monsters anyway. Malcolm is a bit more into the randomness of it all.

 

Honestly I'd rather see the kids (Lex and Tim) grown-up, or Ellie Satler, but it will be nice to have Malcom back too.

Jeff Goldblum is a loud idiot.

The only original characters I would conceivably want to see again are Timmy and Lexu.

You realize Jeff Goldblum is the you and me of the Jurassic Park universe right? In terms of doing sound science and not going crazy?

 

Do those two still act?

 

Who cares, that's not stopping Goldblum from returning.

You're right, he displays a bit more emotion than you.

That said, he's the first one to express skepticism at an errant engineering venture, and that's exactly the role you and I play.

 

Jurassic Park was a good movie - still enjoy it... It's unfortunately also much better than all it's sequels.

At least Jurassic World was an ok movie and not dreadful like the other 2 sequels.

I did like the Premise of Jurassic World (park up and running as a well known attraction).. but then it went off the rails.

Genetically modified dinosaur - lame

Training dinosaurs - idiotic

Military trying to use dinosaurs - really idiotic

Still it was at least entertaining... if fairly mediocre

 

Never mind that. I'm more intrigued in comparing Jabba-wocky to Ian Malcolm. One of them is awkward but charming in his own way, affable, clearly intelligent, funny, has a winning smile and is obviously providing a fair persona that only the gullible would believe. The other is Jabs.

 

Joe Mazzello the last thing I saw him in was the Spielberg produced "The Pacific" he was really good in that! Does anyone know if this Goldblum news is official or just a rumor? my favorite character in the series is Ian Malcom if true I really like the news!

I'm all for some Goldblum, as he's a +2 enjoyment roll for me. But I hope he's got a crucial role and isn't just fan service.

Still haven't found the give a care to check that one out. Based on the trailers he did appear to feature prominently.
