I never would have thought I would live to see the day when MagicMan would ask for a jedi costume. I was in complete shock when he told me he saw episode 3 and said he wanted to be a jedi. My jaw literally dropped. Brad came to me with a concept, very basic. He picked out the material for his costume. For the tabards he found a nice sand color suede and a great color for the robe. I was able to make the costume out of some patterns I found at a local fabric shop. Here is what I have made for him. I just wish I could remember what his jedi name is.

There ya? have it. Just to add as well, he will have a better saber than the one in the pics, a gold saberworks vanguard with blue blade. Enjoy

Hey, nice costume! I love the tabards, they look great and go wonderfully with the tunic! Do you have anything that is going to hold the tabards up? Those can get really annoying when your walking around and they just keep falling down your arms.

Excellent costume. Very good work. I agree that the tabards look especially good.

However, I suggest you suggest to him that when he wears the costume in public the t-shirt doesn't help the look any. Either an actual undertunic or nothing at all would be better. T shirts under Jedi tunics is becoming a pet peeve. The overall look and effect of a fantastic costume is taken down several notches by the out-of-place t shirt.

idk.. i think I would rather have a t-shirt under it than nothing at all... but thats just my opinion, I think it looks better, lol... maybe get a v-neck t-shirt

Wow, you even lined the robe! :)

I have to agree with the concensus. That black T-shirt does not work. It is detracting somewhat from your wonderful work. :(

Tell him to at least get a V-neck shirt!
    ;)

This was Brads first run wearing the whole jedi costume, not completely prepared. He does have a white longsleeve shirt you go underneith the jacket. When his new saber gets it, we'll take some better shots. As for the tabbars, I plan on using velcro to hold them on place on the shoulders.

P.S. Thanks for the feedback :)

Good. I figured it was just a first-time-wearing in the house photo.
