In AE, all you have to do is time-stretch to 200%. AE does the rest by itself.

Ryan, if you zip the movie files, people have to download them.

    Hey Ryan,

I've loved films my whole life. But, I only learned about fan films and stuff a few months ago when I saw an article about a few guys in their backyard that did Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark shot-for-shot. One of the first ones I actually saw was your Alternate Lightsaber Duel from ATOC. I was amazed, and then I watched Ryan vs. Dorkman and I almost wet myself. It was incredible!!! I love making little home movies with my dad and my little 8mm camera and I would love to do a fan film but alas, with the cost of After Effects and what not, I just don't have that kind of $$$$. :( I hope to one day be up to your caliber but for now I'll just watch other peoples. So keep making 'em, and I'll keep watching 'em.

AE can be brought down to, what, $600 is it now? With academic pricing. Just save up for a while.

I think even less than that, academically.

    Thanks, Cloudofsulfer.

Most of the people here didn't pay for their software at all, man. I don't condone pirating, but it's a way of life for a lot of folks. Savvy?

Hehe, I hadn't check the boards for a while, but I wanted to look at Ryan's site to see if there was anything new. . . I got the bandwidth exceeded message and on a hunch, I came here. Sure enough, I see a 7-page topic started by Ryan :p

I really want to see what Ryan's innovative approach to Bullet-Time is (I'm sure it's good!) but now I won't know till next week :'(

BTW, Ryan, just how much bandwidth do you have for each month?

Five gigs. Not much, but it had never been a probelm until now. probably because only recently I purchased a domain for my hosting account. Beforehand, thanks to some sort of technical confusion and/or error, I think my provider's data related to my site was broken so that neither they or I could tell how much bandwidth I was using, and therefore never shut me down for overuse. Naturally I decided not to report this. Eventually, though, I had to get a domain for miscellaneous reasons. So now we'll see how much I really use, and if I need to upgrade.
