I'm a MacDonald myself and was just wondering if there were any other clan members on the board, not that I'd be very surprised either way.

Maclaine of Lochbuie and Macleod (though that's not official) myself. Yah, I think some of my clan stole some of your sheep a long time ago too. You guys need to get better guards ;)

*smiles at DD* I'm a little tired, sipping on some Twinings Irish Breakfast but I fear I need something much stronger.

And over here, it isn't so uncommon to have the same first and last name. My boyfriend knew a guy named Felix Felix. Now *his* parents had to have a gorgeous sense of humor.

I also discovered over the weekend I'm such Eurotrash. Actually not Eurotrash, just like UK trash. I've been on this big kick of watching lots of British or similar movies. Fortunately, an artsy part of town carries such movies.

How are you my sweet Scottish lad? *pinches Gordy's bottom, making sure he's got pants on to avoid actually touching his hairy arse*

you sound like an anglophile, right enough Shara - stting there drinking breakfast tea.... [face_laugh]

I heard this weekend that several of the classic Ealing Studios (London) black and white movies are to be given a limited cinema re-release, then go out on remastered DVD...

if you like quirky Engilsh humour, Alec Guinness in 'Kind Hearts and Coronets' is a classic. And if you like quirky Scottish humour (and a wee bit of genuine social history) 'Whisky Galore' is COMPULSORY... [face_laugh]

I'm always up for a good British or Scottish humored movie. Even Irish if I'm feeling attentive. Trying to wade through the accents is half the fun sometimes.

*eyes Gordy* Well I guess if Tony Daniels feels obliged to do it, I'll make an exception for you as well...*pinches his cheek* Since you're so darn cute ;)

Tony Daniels has slapped yir arse [face_shocked]

Can I kiss the exact spot his hand touched? [face_laugh]

Really, I can't recommend 'Whisky Galore' too much - its about a very quiet, very religious scottish island community ? and the shipwreck of a consignment of whisky on its shores... its based on a true story, too.......

Hrmm...I've always wondered what a strictly religious community in Scotland would be like. It actually sounds...interesting.

And umm sure you can....Of course I can say that because I live almost halfway across the world from you.

*blinks, blushes, and then shakes it off*
Well, that was ....quite the experience.

And btw, no I'm not an Anglophile, I'm more of a Celtiphile....(is that even spelled right?) with Anglophile tendencies :D

i did a wee search for 'celtiphile' just there, and that indeed seems to be the word for it.........
never heard it before in my life, right enough, but I believe you :)
    ah'm gonna have to find a photo of me and my pals in our kilts to show you...... that should put you off Scotsmen for life.... all those knobbly knees 8-}

I've never met a kilted man I didn't like his legs.....

Well except Fat Bastard from Austin powers and his estranged and not quite so huge brother who I saw at some Games last year. I'm very fortunate that most of the men around here who wear kilts have halfway decent legs as well. :D

*waits patiently for a picture of her favorite non-actor Scotsman in a kilt*

right. let that be a lesson to you all.

Just 'cos MrDonk is 6ft 2", witty, intelligent and sensitive to a woman's needs, doesn't mean he can get away with flirting on star wars sites all the time.

By the way, if you see him, tell him his dinner is ready......
