    I agree with halibut here.
MJ has problems, he's had a truely troubled up bringing. Hopefully this will all blow over now and will be forgetten about.

That's the impression I get of him as well Halibut. He sees himself as a kid still.

What gets me is that none of his hangers or family said hang on, this isnt normal for a 40 yr old bloke, even if it was to protect him against this happening.

In a normal person it would be considered mad.
In a famous person it's considered eccentric.

But I'm happy with this result. Good for Jackson. Now he can get back to his life without people hounding him or watching his every move.

I dont honestly think he was guilty of abuse but he is a very stupid man guilty of very very inappropriate behaviour which should have been blatently obvious to those around him. He need sectioning for his own good.

Really? So you think that financial gain is not sufficient to make accusations against someone?

What if I just said here something libelous about you, and got a few other people to say it. Does that make it true, or have some resemblance to the truth?

We'll have to see if MJ sues them or not?

If someone had a go at me and I was sticking rich, I would sue them for everything they had.
If he doesn't you have to ask why?

Maybe he just doesn't want anymore fuss.
If I'd had a turbulent court trial, I'd just want to be left alone for a couple of months.

    But in time, he should.
I would want people to know, they can't get away with it.

On paper, I'd agree with you, but in reality he's just been through a 4 month trial and after a rest would probably want to put it all behind him. After 4 months, if I was rich anyway, I wouldn't want to go to a courtroom again for a LONG time!

Of course it doesnt make it true,I would know It wasnt true. Sure it would P me off but I could live with the fact there are a few more cretins around that i thought.

The man needs help. His behaviour laid himself wide open to allegations and opportunists ready to take advantage of his behaviour.

I knew he'd be inocent when the best that the papers could come up with during the trial was that he turned up in his PJ's and may be wearing a wig :p

"There's no smoke without fire" basically means that with so many rumours about Michael Jackson, there must be an element of truth.

    The smoke being the rumours
    The fire being the cause.

The whole trial was a money making excersize.Just because MJ is different it doesn't give us the right to judge. If i had the opportunity to live out my wildest fantasies i'm sure i'd get up to some "crazy ****"..doesn't make it wrong.Michael is a genius & i'm glad that his music will be allowed to go on forever!...I had this fear of a Gary Glitter style boycott of his music if found guilty. That said MJ's contribution to popular culture is a little harder to ignore than GG's.....I'm rambling, MJ is innocent, YAY! :)

It might not be over. OJ was acquited, but then got sued through the civil courts and lost 33.5 million. Perhaps they'll take this one to the civil courts as well

Not innocent he's just been proved not guilty.

Semantics I know but it is an important point.
