Darth Underwear was on a needed vacation to Breckenridge Colorado.

Four days at 9600 feet above sea level. The Rocky Mountain High that John Denver sang about. Well, I experienced it. With an Eighty Five hundred feet vertical shift in altitude, you get High on smoking Kools... And then trying to walk. WTF. Three flights of stairs and I was done.

But, then I had a revelation. "So like your summer is 70F and winter is like 28F and rarely gets below 0F. Why the hell am I in Nebraska with summers to 105 and winters to -40."

I can deal with snow. I can deal with cold. But I cannot deal with cold and snow. PS, We call cold here in -degrees F.

If I could only afford the real estate there, I would be there.

    But I digress.

Props to LZM on kickin' out the JW novel.

To those whom have not read it. I say that you missed the good version of E3.

There is no comparison. JW kicked to official novels ass.

    With that said.

This is not MY thread. This is YOUR thread.

As long as someone is here to post daily or semi daily, then this thread will continue to be on the top of the FF Threads.

There is no going back to the hey day of the past in which we all were anxiously hitting F5 for the latest bit of table scraps that JW gave to us.

We can never get back to the times in which the JW thread was full numerous fans waiting for any real sign of what the Movie would be, where the novel was going and the endless debate on where it should go.

JW invented the thread. LZM was always and continues to be the welcome wagon.

All I ever did was attempt to continue it here, long after the official movie and novel trumped the JW version.

So, all I can say is, Long Live JW. Long Live the Thread. Long Live LZM and long live this thread for as long as you can keep it up.

    DU

    PS.

I plan, with a little help from BDS, post snippets of the original SIX, Yes count them SIX, fan threads. At one point there was even Three versions of Darth Underwear. Can you believe it!!!

All respect goes to JW, his fans and everyone that has ever posted here or in the original threads.

    Peace, out. DU

It has been a long time since I have been on here, sorry for the absence though I doubt people were sitting in front of their computer, on this thread saying to themselves, "Where the heck has Omi been?"

Anyways I am alive, stressed from work but alive.

I am well. How are you and yours?

I think it's very cool that you are re-posting the story that brought us all together.

What does everyone have planned for this weekend. Just homework for me but it does mean that I will be chained to the computer for the weekend. Maybe we can see how many freinds we can get to pop in for a visit? If your out there, post a quick note if you can. I will be here all weekend.

Oh yeah, Mt. Dew and Sith Ale are on me.

Nah I have a lot of words I just don't know all their meanings.

The biggest problem with saying a lot is the endless echo in this thread.

Good to see you as well Master.

Indeed it has been to long. Unfortunatly I got caught up in the hectic events that make up our lives and did not take the time to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. Events in my life have now taken a quick 180 and I find myself back in school. This is allowing me more time to enjoy some of the aspects of my life that I had not been able to when I was working far to much. Kind of a reality check to see yourself and so many others give so much of themselves to a company only to have that company close the doors for "logistical purposes".

I know just what you mean, I've had a pretty horrible year myself which is only just now getting back on track. Its funny isn't it how your life can do a complete 360 isn't it

Yeah it can really run you through the wringer sometimes. You just have to your best to stay positive and bounce back. I'm lucky in that I have an awesome wife and kids that are very supportive of my decision to go back to school. I don't know what I would do without them.

    That's great Twilight!!!

The global downturn of the economy has had its bad effects, but hopefully, some good can come out of it.

At least the price of gas has come down!
