Ouzo makes sense if you're drinking it in Greece, sun beating down, big handful of olives etc etc

but when you get it back to Scotland, its something you keep in the cupboard until there is absolutely no drink left in the house, and you're desperate, and then you open it, and sniff it, and then decide your're not that desperate after all......

 

So true, Dank... I don't fancy ouzo that much though. I enjoy rezina better.

 

I like retsina - it gives you 'pine-fresh' breath......

 

MrDAnkDonk two of my class mated drank a whole bottle of ouzo in an hour!! Now I have to get more when I go back home.
ObiAnne, try tsipouro. But I don't think you'll like it... It burns the throat like fire.
I must also thank Nin for giving the idea of opening a Greek forum.
