It really is. So glad we'll be seeing more Kanan's time with the Jedi (and more Depa), I really hope he interacts with Obi-Wan too!

 

Depa's like, "Obi-Wan, what are you doing in my chair...?"

And Obi-Wan's like, "Oh blimey, you're back again?"

 

So this issue takes place during the Bombiss season 5 episodes?

 

I am thinking during the Battle of Coruscant, just before RotS.

 

I doubt it takes place during the battle of coruscant because in #1 Caleb says he's been fighting on the front lines for a few months

 

Yeah, my reasoning as well. It's either the Jedi temple bombing by Bariss or something entirely new, albeit I find that somewhat unlikely. We'll see though.

 

I personally think it's something new unless it turns out that Caleb was in the hanger when Bariss blew up it up or something.........

So they are continuing to do PT era comics. Good to know.

 

Cad Bane also attacked the Temple in the show's second season. It's also very possible that this is an unrelated incident to anything we've seen in TCW. It does make sense that the Temple would be a prime target and get attacked more than once by multiple factions.

OMG Is that General Kleeve?! It could be cool it he was a recurring foe of Depa and Caleb during the clone wars.

Obi Wan always ran into Grievous during the TCW
The Ghost crew always seem to run into Agent Callus in Rebels
Depa and Caleb always find themselves fighting Kleeve's underlings

It's not a small universe, it's called having an arch enemy

 

I don't see why attacking these people keep attacking the Temple. Wouldn't the Senate building be better choice for a political statement?

 

It does start to be redundant since it is happening not long after Barriss bombed it but the art is still beautiful and I am still wondering if this is Kleeve or a new character and why is he here?

Greg Weisman said a character from the second arc will appear in season 2 of rebels, is it a clue ?

Summary of the story so far, Correct?

Caleb who doesn't like to be called Kid, battles Kleeve on Kaller and later joins forces with a Kalleran named Kasmir. Later, Caleb and Kasmir do business with Kleeve but then get Captured. Everyone escapes and two Clones, one Captain and one Commander are Killed. Caleb "dies" leaving Kasmire, Kleeve and Kaller behind and Kanan is "born". Kanan returns to Kaller and is almost Killed. Thanks to flashbacks, the Clone Captain and Commander are back in the story.

I need a dictionary to keep everything straight, especially all the K names. Do I have this correct?

Kanan - the last padawan that used to be named Caleb Dume
Kaller - a planet that Kanan visited when he was both young and old(er)
Kallerans - citizens of Kaller, green looking creatures, look like a cross between a lizard and a cobra
Kleeve - a general that looks like a devil with cybernetic left eye
Kasmir - last name of Janus, the Kalleran who befriends Caleb
Karabast - an exclamation of frustration
Kyber Crystal - part of a lightsaber
Kardoa - planet where Caleb will have first mission with Master Billaba and Commander Grey and Captain Styles
Krell - General Jedi turned Sith during Clone Wars, looks like Dex Jettster (Clone Wars TV show, no Kanan comic connection)
Kreel - Sergeant working for Vader aka his Fist (Star Wars comic, no Kanan comic connection)

Careful, Kablob. Your name Could be used for a Character in Kanan.

 

Which shows that Lucas may have had a point when he veto'd Anakin's clone captain for TCW being Alpha (from the comics) because you already had Anakin, Ahsoka, and Assaj.

 

Solid and unlike Vader Down there is actually dialog worth something in between.

Solid issue as always. When Star Wars sucks, I know I'll always have this to fall back on. lol
