    Yep, sadly I'll miss this celebration too, I did make it to C3, which was some time ago now, but it was amazing. You have to get to one someday, it's a great experience, total blast.

    • So it for sure starts with a 'present day Rebels' frame story (looks like during the middle or so of Season 1).
    • Also suggests that 'The Last Padawan' is the arc title, and it's given a chapter/issue title as well. (Chapter 1: Fight)
    • Clone Wars are defined as lasting "Three Plus Years".
    In the last preview panel, there's a nice reference to some of Caleb's thoughts as presented in the prologue of A New Dawn.

    So this series is one massive flashback?

    Appetite status: whetted.

    Definitely picking this up Day 1; for all its flaws, I do love me some PT-era. Plus, I'm curious about the Dark Times and really, really curious about how eager-for-conflict Caleb Dume became the Kanan Jarrus we saw in A New Dawn.

    From the description of this series on wookiepedia I sort of get the impression that each arc of will jump around the timeline of Kanan's life.

    Eg

    Arc 1 (last padawan)- Caleb Dume as a fugitive padawan
    Arc 2- Kanan post A New Dawn

    The thought of seeing Kanan and Hera post A New Dawn just got me really excited. It would be cool if they also covered the circumstances under which Chopper, Zeb, and Sabine joined their group in this comic, but I also wouldn't mind if those stories were told somewhere else.

    I think it'd be cooler if Zeb and Sabine's Ghost origins were told in novels like A New Dawn, that way they'd work as a sort of novel series.

    There's a story begging to be written - comic, novel, or whatever - about Zeb, Kallus, the massacre on Lasan, and Zeb eventually ending up aboard the Ghost. Begging, I tell you.

    Still hope arc 2 is a new dawn adaptation just so I can see if vidian actually looks like that terrifying guy from Shark Tank
