Going off the synopsis of Lords of the Sith, I'm not worried about Hera's family so much as I'm worried about Ryloth.

Well I think they were trying to push Simba more than anything. Even then, Disney in the 90's is a lot different than Disney now.

I wouldn't be surprised if somehow some of these characters worm their way into the new movies and take over the franchise allowing Disney to have full autonomy.

 

I guess. The stories are different, but that doesn't mean they would stop selling these characters. Especially since they are coming out with a new Lion King series for kids.

I don't know. I mean these five years that the Ghost Crew will be set in before A New Hope is their time. We might see some of them in future movies, but not all of them. I doubt they'll take over these new movies.

 

Really, their last few movies would seem to indicate that they have no problem killing off characters even today.

I don't know if Kanaan or Ezra will survive past say the time TESB takes place as Luke is supposed to literally be the last of the Jedi. If that means the last of the Jedi Knights, that's one thing, but the other characters could easily survive through to the rise of the New Republic though.

So apparently Kanan was originally going to have a different colored outfit (same design, sans right-arm guard) and blond hair, without the goatee...



He was also supposed to have a cyborg arm...

Gotta say, I'm glad they settled on the design they did.

 

The first concept looks cool and I wouldn't mind if it was an alternate outfit for him in the show.

 

I agree. Maybe they could even work in the blond hair–it could be a disguise of some kind. And of course Hasbro would milk it for a whole new action figure.

 

That would be neat. I wish the characters would have some more outfits in the show, but I guess the CGI limits that.

 

It's going to pain me to see Kanan potentially lose Ezra to the Dark Side. I'm very certain the Inquisitor is going to connect that Ezra's parents really still being alive as a means to get him to join forces with him and the Empire. He may even pretend to have them alive when they are really not as a means to get Ezra to join the Dark Side.

 

So if Kanan ever dies, when do you think it will happen ?, i think he will die in series finale or season 3-4
