This is an internet messageboard. It's where people come to goof off. There's no need for such seriousness all the time. I'm sure [I hope] you get unconditional love from your actual real life friends and family. This is not real life. Sure, we make friends here, etc... but seriously, this is not the place where you are going to find unconditional love and acceptance. You have to take this place for what it is... a place where people come in their free time, to goof off... a place away from your real life. I don't know... I think people place this message board above real life (the "real life is boring" etc posts), and that just isn't healthy.

 

I don't hate it when people joke around. I rolled my eyes because it's crazy to sleep naked.(see earlier in the thread)

and my point is, maybe if you relax a little, and stop being so uptight, you may have some fun and make some friends. You seem to have this preconcedived notion about certain people here. I see you reacting to people in a pretty nagative and "holier than thou" fashion. Perhaps if you were a wee bit more accepting to people with different viewpoints from yours, you'd learn something, and as I said, make some more friends.

Why not allow yourself to learn some things from people who are different from you? Do all of your friends have to think the exact same way as you? If so, that must be incredibly boring. Conversations with people who agree with every single one of your opinions / viewpoints tend to be pretty unfulfilling. It's differences that make life interesting.

 

kristie is right. thats why i hang out with people who listen to music i hate, have very few of the same interests, and generally don't get along with. they're my friends and i wouldn't have it any other way.
